It was my turn to audition. I walked in the room and there was a concession table with six people sitting behind it. They were all men dressed in business suits except for one women at the end wearing a nice dress. They asked for my name and I told them and then they said to start whenever I was ready. I cleared my throat and I began saying the lines. I was going a little red in the face because I felt a bit embarrassed but it went away very quickly. One man had a smile on his face while he watched me. The women at the end was smiling also. I was on the last two lines when the man in the middle told me to stop. My heart leaped into my throat, I was sure I didn't get the part. The man asked me "Have you ever done this before?" I replied "No sir, I've only been in plays and in a commercial for a cereal when I was about six years old." The man looked at the other judges and he started to smile a lot and said "You did a great job! We will call and email if you get the part." I smiled really big and said "Thank you!" and walked out of the room. I seen my mom walking towards me and she instantly smiled when she seen me smiling. I told her "The judges said they would call and email us if I got the part. They told me I did a great job!" I was really happy then I was filled with curiosity on if I got the part or not.
