chapter fifteen

it was about thirty minutes into the movie when I wanted to go home. Bentley was being very rude to me and Mayzie, and I got fed up with it. I called my mom and told her to come get me. My mom sounded worry and a little angry she asked me "What's wrong? Do I need to whoop somebody's ass?". I laughed a little but then said "No, I'm just done with the movie." my mom then said "Alright, i'll be there in about five minutes." I said bye and hung up.

Mayzie came out of the theater and looked at me and asked what was wrong. I told her that it was Bentley and the movie was giving me a headache. Mayzie told me she was sorry and that she was going to call me later and walked back into the theater. I leaned up against the wall and took out my phone and got on twitter. I went thru the tweets celebrities were posting and stopped when I seen Norman Reedus's name on the screen. He was here in Atlanta in a little restaurant not even two minutes from the spot I was standing at. I quickly ran into the theater to find Mayzie, when I seen her I ran up to her and told her she needed to come with me fast and we both started running out of the theater. Bentley and Bradley came running up behind us. Bentley asked "What are you guys doing?!' I yelled back "there's someone we need to go see real quick." Mayzie and Bradley looked really confused and I showed all three of them the tweet an their mouths dropped. I started laughing and said "Come on! we need to hurry up."

We ran all the way down the street to where the little restaurant was. We looked around the parking lot and only seen about 4 cars. I thought to myself that we were probably too late and he already left. I started laughing and said "I think we're too late guys" Mayzie said "No come on, let's go inside" we all looked at each other then started walking into the restaurant. I looked around at all the tables filled with people until my eyes fell on a table with a man in a blue hoodie and a pair of black sunglasses on. I bursted out laughing cause Mayzie was looking at the same table that I was staring at. Her face was very red and she looked like she was about to cry. I heard her mumble something but I didn't hear her I asked her what she said and she said "Is that really him?" I said well yeah cause I don't see anyone else here that looks like him. She started walking towards the table when I grabbed her arm and told her "Hold on, I don't think we should bother them." she pulled her arm away and said " I have a plan." I gave her a worried look but then found out what she was doing, she was asking the lady at the register if we could get a table near them. The lady grabbed four menus and told us to follow her. Sure enough Mayzie got us a table right next to Norman's. I almost fainted because right when we sat down Norman looked over and smiled at me. Mayzie was still very red and I thought I was going to cry from trying to hold in my laughter. Bentley looked at Mayzie and instantly knew what was going on. Bradley didn't look really happy, I think he really liked Mayzie. We were all sitting there talking and I kept looking over at Norman's table. I didn't notice before but there was a little boy sitting next to Norman. I couldn't believe it, it was Mingus Reedus. The boy I had been "married" to for the last two years was sitting at the table right next to mine. I kept staring at Mingus, he was so perfect looking, he had a perfect smile, his blonde hair, his eyes. I was still looking at Mingus when all of a sudden I got a call, It was my mom. I totally forgot about her coming to pick me up. I instantly answered and all I heard was yelling, she said "RACHEAL WHERE IN THE HELL ARE YOU AT?!" it was so loud Norman, Mayzie, Bentley, Mingus, and Bradley were staring at me. My face went red and I told my mom where I was and I told her I was sorry I didn't tell her. She told me to not do it again and to call her when I was ready to go. I hung up and looked over at Mayzie, she started laughing and said "moms" I started laughing until I felt something poke my arm. I looked over to see Norman looking at me and he told me to lean forward and he said something that I thought I would never hear, "I don't know if you know who I am , but my son just told me that you're very beautiful." I leaned back and my face was very red I knew I probably looked very shock because Mayzie bursted out laughing. Norman started laughing too and Mingus looked confused. Norman whispered in his ear and after he said what ever he said he looked at me and smiled but went very red. There was some lady sitting at the table with them and she looked over at me and whispered "I think he's trying to set you two up" I was so red in the face and I was very quiet. Norman stood up and started walking toward the back of the restaurant I watched him as he walked. He had a great looking butt. Norman walked into a room and I looked up and seen a bathroom sign hanging above it. I stood up and started walking to the back. I was going to confront Norman and ask him why he told me that.

Norman walked out and looked down at me and then smiled and said "Do you have something to ask me?" I said "Yes, why did you tell me Mingus liked me?" Norman laughed and said "So, you do know who I am." I laughed and said "Well duh, this is Atlanta, Georgia." he laughed and then said "I noticed you were staring at him a lot, and when you walked in, that's when he told me." I blushed a little but then said "Wow, well obviously I do like him too." he said "yeah I know that. Um I don't know if he'd care but if you want I can give you him his cell number. As long as you don't share it to the rest of the world." I said "ahh I don't know I have a little brother that likes to text people weird things while I'm asleep" Norman chuckled a little then asked "May I see your phone?" I pulled out my phone and put in the code and handed him it. He went to my contacts and typed in Mingus's number. After he was done he got onto my facebook. I knew he was because the reflection on his sunglasses. I was confused until I seen he was making a status, I started laughing. While he was typing he asked "Why are you laughing?" I said "You're hacking my facebook right?" he looked up and asked "how do you know?" I giggled and said "I can see thru your glasses" he started laughing a little bit then took off his glasses and handed me the glasses. He began typing again, I looked up at him and stared for a little bit because he looked perfect without his glasses on. After Norman was done typing whatever he typed he handed back my phone. We both walked back to our tables and sat back down. Everybody was staring at us and me and Norman looked at each other and smiled. The lady at Norman's table stood up and said "Well guys, we need to get going, you have to film tomorrow." Norman walked over to our table and shook my hand but I stood up and gave him a hug. he laughed a little bit and said "It was nice meeting you, I'll hope to hear from you soon." we let go and he winked at me. I giggled a little bit and then Mingus came up to Norman and yanked him to start coming. Mingus started at me for a bit he started blushing when we made eye contact. Norman started laughing, he probably noticed. Everybody at my table stood up too and we all walked out with Norman, Mingus, and mystery lady. We watched as Norman got into a black car that was parked near a tree behind the restaurant. They pulled out and started driving towards the highway.

Me, Mayzie, Bentley, and Bradley started walking back up to the movie theater. We were all silent, until I said "So how is everyone?" I laughed when they all responded with "shocked" and Bradley said "Did we really just meet the Norman Reedus." I started a laughing and then said "Well unless we're all dreaming" We all laughed a little bit. I called my mom and told her that I was ready to be picked up. She was right down the street so it was only about a minute until I hopped in the front seat and everyone else got In the back. After my mom dropped off everyone I told my mom about the restaurant an she didn't believe me. Until she got on my facebook, norman had put "Hacked by Racheal's new best friend Norman Reedus  . @official3527893"  I started laughing because that post had about 467 likes and it was only posted about twenty three minutes ago. I was still in a bit of shock from Norman telling me what Mingus said. I was wondering if I would ever see them again. I went to sleep very happy that night.
