Was it meant to be? (a Mingus Reedus love story)

Chapter thirty one

When I woke up the next morning I was still in Sean's arms. It was really awkward I tried squirming out of his arms but it didn't work. His head was in my hair and I started to feel really hot. His body was burning up and we had a blanket over us. I pulled up my hand and started poking Sean's face. I started to laugh a little bit cause he still didn't wake up. I heard a little laugh and I looked over to see Lauren laughing at me. I whispered to her "Please help me." She went over and kicked someone. I head an "Ow what the hell?!" Then I seen Norman get up. Lauren pointed over to me and Sean. He laughed and came over. He pulled out his phone and pointed it toward us. I knew what he was doing and I immediatley tried to hide. I heard the little snap sound then I felt another set of arms surround me. Norman was trying to pull me away. It was about 3 minutes of me and Norman trying to get me out of Sean's embrace. Sean finally woke up and said "Sorry..." I laughed and said "It's alright, thanks for comforting me last night." He nodded and I started walking towards the kitchen. I looked at the clock an it said 6:33. It was still really early in the morning. I groaned and started making myself a bowl of cereal. Norman walked up to me and said "There's no milk." He laughed and I smiled. He went over to the fridge and got eggs, bacon strips, and milk. I think he's making pancakes and bacon. I watched Norman while he got a box that said pancake mix. I smiled an said "Yesss" Norman smiled. Everybody started to wake up the only person that still wasn't awake was Mingus. We were all finished eating when Mingus woke up. Norman laughed when Mingus walked in and looked at all of us and said "That boy could probably sleep for ten years if you told him too." I smiled and I seen Mingus looking at Sean and me. I looked at Sean staring at Mingus. I was confused so I started laughing. Everybody looked at me. Michael spoke up and said "What's funny." I pointed to Sean then to Mingus. They looked at me and Sean said "He keeps glaring at me" Everybody then looked at Mingus and Mingus said "He's trying to steal Racheal from me." Everybody bursted out laughing except me and Sean. I got up and started walking to the living room gesturing Mingus to follow me. When I got to the living room, i turned around an said "Sean was comforting me last night. He's too old for me! I'm 14 he's like 50!" Mingus looked down and said "I should have been the one holding you and comforting you." I smiled and stepped closer to him and said "Is someone jealous?" Mingus looked up and he lunged forward and kissed me. I fell back since Mingus half jumped half pulled me into a kiss. I started laughing. Norman, Sean, and Andrew came in and Norman picked up Mingus off of me. They were all looking at me and I said "We were talking, mingus jumped forward to kiss me, I lost my balance and that's why he was on top of me. Trust me i'm not that kind of girl that wants to be on 15 & pregnant. Norman smiled and punched mingus in the stomach playfully and said "smooth move doofus, how are you still dating. He's not romantic." I spoke up and said "Yes he is. Well to me he is. He doesn't need to be romantic he just needs to be himself. That's what I like the most. Well and trust." I kind of looked down and thought 'well trust is really not doin ok right now.' I still had the uneasy feeling.

Me, Mayzie, and Anthony hugged everyone bye. We thanked Norman and he smiled and said "Anytime, all three of you are welcomed back anytime you want. You guys were fun." Mayzie giggled and Anthony smiled. I was hugging Mingus and he whispered "I love you Racheal. You don't have to say it back, whenever you feel the same way you know where to find me." I pulled away and he kissed my cheek. I heard an "Aww" in the background. I blushed and me, Mayzie, and Anthony walked back to Anthony's apartment.

Once we were inside Anthony looked at me and said "What plane did you guys get on to get here." Mayzie spoke up and said "My dad's private plane." Anthony looked over and said "Private plane? Are you guys like billionaires?" Mayzie smiled and said "My dad's name is Chris Pine." Anthony looked excited an then he said "Oh my gosh! Whoa I just took care of the daughter of Chris Pine!." Me and Mayzie laughed. After Anthony was finished fanboying he said "Well we need to get to Atlanta today." I looked down. I had forgotten all about my mom and dad. Anthony came over and gave me a hug. Me and Mayzie went to our room. Mayzie started packing up her things I looked over and said "You can probably stay here with us. You don't have to leave besides I don't think i'll be able to get thru this alone." Mayzie looked up and said "Are you sure?" I nodded and we heard a voice from the doorway. It was Mingus. I turned around and he had 4 roses in his hand. I smiled really big and came over. I took the roses and then pulled him into a kiss. After we stopped I whispered in his ear and said "I love you too Mingus." I stepped back and Mingus had the biggest smile I seen. I heard another voice say "Oh get a room." I looked past Mingus to see Chandler standing there. I turned around to see Mayzie an I could tell she was blushing. Chandler and Mingus walked into our room and they both sat on my bed. Chandler got up and walked over to Mayzie. Mayzie tensed up and her face got even more red. Chandler sat down on her bed and he was staring at her. Me and Mingus watched and we heard Chandler say "You are very pretty, I'm sorry I just really needed to say that." Mayzie blushed so much that I thought she was going to explode. I heard Mayzie mumble something that sounded like "I really really like you." Chandler laughed he got up and walked over to Mayzie and grabbed her hand. Chandler looked over at me and said "Is it alright if I take her out to lunch." I shrugged and said "if it's alright with her." Mayzie nodded and they both walked out. I looked over to Mingus and he smiled an said "Mayzie is the only thing that Chandler has been talking about." I smiled an said "Well I guess it's good for her. She's never had a boyfriend before. Well me neither until I met you." Mingus looked at me shocked and said "How is that? I mean you're so confident when you do something like kiss me, or grab my hand. You even grabbed my butt when we were kissing four days ago." I laughed and said "I did not grab your butt!" Mingus laughed and said "Well who's hand was grabbing my butt?" We both went kind of silent but then we both bursted out laughing again. After a while I started to get sleepy again so I laid down on my bed. Mingus laid down next to me and said "I'm tired too."

After that we both fell asleep.
