Chapter twenty-one

Me and Mayzie decided to go to the living room and watch a movie. Anthony had a million movies, he had almost every genre but he mostly had horror. Me and Mayzie loved horror movies that had jumpscares. We decided to watch 'Pandorum' we had never seen it and we looked it up on google Norman played a guy named Shepard in it. The movie was really crazy at first and we were just watching it for Norman and when he first appeared we didn't like what we saw then like 4 seconds later he scared the crap out of us. If you watch the movie you should figure out what I mean. We stopped the movie cause we couldn't stop laughing about how we screamed and Anthonys other neighbor knocked on the door to see if everything was ok.

When Anthony came back we told him about the movie and he laughed a bit then asked if we wanted to go next door to see Norman. I said "Nopppeeeeee.... Not tonight. Noppppeee" Mayzie looked at me and laughed and said "Yeah, I agree we should just wait til friday." Anthony nodded then said "Well i'm gonna go to bed, if you guys want anything to eat. There's stuff in the fridge, just don't eat all the ice cream." We nodded and he walked away. Mayzie looked at me and said "Are you scared to go see them?" I said "No, I don't want to bother them." Mayzie smiled then walked over to the fridgerator and opened it she laughed and said "Someone likes Dr.Pepper" I walked over to Mayzie and laughed there was a whole shelf wiith only Dr.Pepper cans then there was milk and orange juice. We both grabbed a can then started walking to our room when something tapped on the wall by the door. We looked at eachother then looked at the wall. Something tapped it again and we went to look out the peephole on the door. There was a little kid sitting out in the hallway with a whole bunch of toy cars. We started laughing and opened the door, the kid stood up and said "I'm sorry, I wasn't meaning to disturb you guys." I looked at the little boy and said "It's ok, are you out here alone?" The little boy nodded and I asked "Where are your parents?" He said "Back in our apartment, I live down the hall. They started yelling at eachother and told me to go down here." I looked at Mayzie and said "We gotta stay here with the kid" she nodded and we sat down next to the kid. He smiled and asked "Do you want to play with me and my cars?" We smiled and said "yes" he handed me and Mayzie both 3 cars and we rolled them around making car noises. After a while i asked the little boy "So what's your name? I'm Racheal and that's Mayzie" I pointed over to Mayzie and the little boy said "I'm Beau I'm 9 years old." I smiled and said "I always loved that name, Beau." He smiled and said "Thanks." We went back to playing when all of a sudden we heard a door swing open down the hall and a scare looking man came walking down the hallway. Me, Beau, and Mayzie scooped up the cars and stood up so we wouldn't be in the mans way but the man was looking straight at us then to Beau. He yelled half way toward us "What the hell are you doing with my kid?!" I said "We were just watching him because he was out here alone." The man yelled back "He's fine! He can take care of himself." I looked at the man and said "Well he looked really sad so me and my friend were just trying to comfort him, we didn't mean any harm." The man got in my face and said "Don't come round my boy aga..." We heard a voice not even two feet away from where me and Beau's dad were standing the voice said "You better get away from her" in a serious tone. Beau's dad looked over at the person that said that and he spat "And who the hell are you?" The man said "Well i'm a guy that's about to stick my foot up your ass if you don't get away from the girl and let go of the boys arm, you're gonna break it!" I looked over to see Norman Reedus glaring at Beau's dad. Beau's dad stepped back but didn't let go of Beau. Norman stepped up and said "Now let go of the boys arm before I call Child Services on you." Beau's dad tried to punch Norman but Norman grabbed his hand and twisted it causing Beau's dad to gasp. I looked at Mayzie and she looked so shocked. Norman looked at Beau's dad and said "Now you gonna let go or do I have to break your hand?" Beau's dad let go of Beau's arm. Beau started running to his mom down the hall and Beau's dad just walked off the other way. When we couldn't see Beau's dad anymore Norman turned to me and Mayzie and said "It's pretty strange to see you two here..." I smiled and said "My cousin lives right next to you, we didn't even know you lived here" Norman smiled and said "Wow your the two kids he was talking about?" I smiled and said yepp and I looked over at Mayzie who was really red in the face. Norman looked over at her and laughed then pulled her into a bear hug. I swear she looked like she was about to faint I was laughing so much. After they were done Norman looked at me and said "So how long are you guys staying up here?" I said"Two weeks, well we could stay longer but we'd have to check with our parents." Norman said "That's cool, you still have Mingus's number?" I smiled and said "Yeah, I texted him on our way here and he said we could meet up somewhere if I wanted to." Norman laughed a bit and whispered "He's really got a thing for you. You're the only person I hear about come out of his mouth." I could tell I was really red in the face judging by Norman's expression he laughed a little bit and said "Gosh, you two are in love with each other, I can totally see it... Yuck." I laughed and playfully punched him in the stomach. Mayzie kept staring at Norman, I think he noticed too cause he kept winking at her every now and then and she started giggling. After a while I looked over to Mayzie and said "Well here's your chance, tell 'em" Norman looked to me and said "Tell me what?" Mayzie giggled and said "I think you're really hot!" Norman went a little red in the face and laughed then said "Well thank you, sweetie." Then he winked at her and I said "Stop you're gonna kill her." Norman laughed a little bit then said "Well kids it's almost 2 in the morning we should get to bed. Oh yeah, you two coming to my party Friday?" I said "Yeah we were planning on it." Norman smiled and said "That's cool well goodnight ladies" he winked at Mayzie again and she giggled for like the one thousandth time and I even laughed. Norman chuckled and walked back into his apartment.

We walked back into Anthonys apartment to find a shirtless Anthony with pajama pants on sitting on the counter. I said "Dude... Gross." He laughed and said "What, never seen a dude shirtless?" I laughed and said "Yeah... Whatever, guess who we were talking to out in the hall just a little bit ago?" He asked "whoooo?" And Mayzie said "Normannnnn" and Anthony smiled and said "jerks, could came and got me." We then told Anthony about Beau and his dad and Anthony said "If that guy ever and I ever comes up to you again, get me and i'll knock his f..." I said "Whoa Ok! Gotcha" Anthony smiled and said "Well we should get to bed." We all headed to our rooms and went to sleep.
