Chapter forty two

*Mingus*

I sat there watching racheal as she slept. Me and my dad were coming to see if she wanted to go out to eat when we seen her fall to ground. My dad yelled and i ran to her. My dad grabbed the phone and started talking to the people on the phone. I tried waking racheal up but she wouldn't. I knew she had fainted and when i went to tell my dad he was writing down a phone number. When my dad was done i told him we needed to go to the hospital to make sure racheal was going to be ok. My dad picked up racheal an we walked out into the hallway. We got a few stares from a group that was coming the other direction. When they seen racheal they stopped us and asked if we needed help my dad just said that we didn't and we needed to hurry. We half ran/jogged to the car. My dad put racheal in the back seat and i sat next to her. I heard mumble but i couldn't make out what she said. I was really scared but i felt comfort when i heard her talk a little. She kept moving and i tried to stop her but she ended up falling over into my lap. My dad looked back and he kind of laughed but then put his eyes back on the road. Racheal didn't stir anymore and she just laid there. I was hoping she was going to wake up soon.

*Norman*

I looked back to see Racheals head on Mingus's lap. I laughed and turned my head back to the road. I couldn't believe Racheal's mom was alive. I honestly didn't know what to do. Maybe it wasn't real and someone is trying to set her up. I will never let anything happen to Racheal. Mingus would be devastated. I took Racheal as my own kid and she was really close to me and Mingus. I pulled into the Hospital parking lot when i remembered i needed to call Anthony to tell him what happened. I whispered "shit" and Mingus said "What's wrong dad?" I said "Nothing, just forgot to tell Anthony about Racheal." Just then we heard "I'm ok, guys i'm ok." I turned back around to Racheal raising up from Mingus and looking around. Mingus smiled and hugged racheal. She laughed then said "What happened?" I didn't know what to say. Mingus looked at me and then back to Racheal and asked "We'll talk later. Are you sure you're alright? I mean we're already at the hospital. If you need to and we can go in and they can run some tests." Racheal shook her head "No i feel fine. Got a bit of a headache but i feel fine. Can we go home?" I nodded and then turned the truck back on. I headed back to the apartment.
