It had been two days since my audition and I felt really sad cause we still had not gotten one call or email. I knew I probably didn't get the part and that someone that came did an amazing job got it. I was really upset until I heard my moms phone ring. I ran out and she was talking to someone on the phone. I was looking at her giving her the 'is that them?' look and she nodded but she wasn't smiling. A feeling in my stomach started to form and I felt like I was about to pass out from waiting and I started panicking. It was about five minutes until my mom was off the phone and she looked at me and said "I'm so sorry honey, you didn't make it." I felt crushed, I started to cry and I turned around to start walking to my bedroom when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and my mom pulled me into a hug. She held me in her arms for about five minutes until she let go and she asked "Are you going to ok?" I nodded then wiped off some of the tears on my face and started walking to my bedroom.
