- Demi, wake up! Please do your laundry before going out, if you're going out.. - My mom said opening my curtains and annoying the crap out of me

I rolled away from the window so my back was towards it and covered my head with the blanket - I'm comming - I mumbled

I soon heard my mom close the bedroom door and fell asleep again.. waking up some hours later

I stood up yawning and looked at my clock seeing that it was 10:30am..

Tiredly, I pick up my clothing basket and put some dirty laundry in it. Since my laundry room was seperate from my house, I had to go downstairs and outside, to put everything in the washer.

As I passed by the pool, my phone vibrated making me pick it up

Jick: Hey Dems! Can I come over to spend the day with you?

I put down the basket on a tiny table and answered him quickly, before putting everything in the washer

Lemi: Of course! Door's open for ya!

I clicked "On" on the washer and walked back yawning. Yesterday, was a mediocre day.. Nick didn't seem bothered by Nathan, which wasn't what I wanted..

Of course Nathan knew.. he agreed to help me..

So now, my two bff's and a potential boyfriend of one of them knows that I like my best friend.. great...

Fucking Nick.. how could you? How could you steal every single girl's heart, including mine?

I walked up stairs, got dressed and prepared myself.. I wasn't feeling like putting makeup so I just went with a chill outfit and bare face.. It was Saturday.. fuck it!

The doorbell rang and I heard my mom open the door so I went downstairs and greeted Nick

- So.. my mom told me she needed to go to the groceries.. care to come with me? - I asked him - she's coming too, by the way

Nick chuckled and put his hands in his pockets - Of course! I'm here to help.. I was so bored at my house, you don't even know - he laughed caressing his own face

My mom got the car keys as soon as he answered me and then had to go to the bathroom. Before going she told us to get in the car, handing me the car key

We got inside and I turned on the radio only to cause laughs from Nick

- This song is amazing.. I love her! - he chuckled singing along in the back seat

Shania Twain has always been his favorite artist and "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" was a favorite of ours since forever! Whenever we went on vacations together, which was always because our mom's were best friends, we would jam to this song together

We both sang along as my mom came inside laughing at us and soon joining us while she started the car

We went to the nearest Walmart so we could buy stuff

- Demi, here's the list of things you have to buy.. I have to go there and there but I'll be back soon to the car, ok? - my mom told me pointing around to random shops that I've never heard of, and I nodded

Me and Nick, together, walked up to Walmart and bought everything my mom needed
