Chapter Eight

I was still knocked out and I could hear but I couldn't see anything.

My eyes were finally able to open and I check the clock and it was 2:46 am and Phil left approximately 19:34 pm.

I began to get a little freaked out because I didn't know where he was and why he couldn't come back.

I grabbed my crutches on the floor and I put my weight on my other leg.

It was painful but I began walking and I grabbed my key card off the nightstand and I began walking.

I gritted my teeth wanting to sit back down but I just had to fight through all my pain.

I closed the door softly and Guy nearly ran me over.

"U-uh sorry Reese" his Scottish accent broke out.

"It's okay" I sighed while looking down at my shoe and my giant boot.

"How about I take you to the lobby for something to drink?" He asked.

"I-I don't mind" I whispered.

"Hey buddy everything's going to be alright I promise you." He whispered.

He placed his hand on my chin and he lifted my head and made eye contact with me.

His deep brown eyes had tears in them and he put his arm around my shoulder.

"Reese I promise you that this will all be okay and we're all here for you I promise" he smiled.

"Thank you" I mumbled.

He walked me down to the lobby to grab something to drink.

I didn't say anything except that I ordered a water.

"Reese are you sure you don't want something else?" He asked.

"Guy it's fine" I sighed.

"Alright" he responded.

"Where is everyone exactly?" I asked.

"I'm not totally sure I called everyone and no one picked up and I'm just as confused as you are" he sighed.

"Are you sure you don't actually know?" I asked.

"Well I know Phil walked out of the hotel saying he needed to discuss some business, uh and I believe Chris, Will and Jonny stayed back here" he replied.

"Why would everyone be gone at this time of night, well it's actually the beginning of the next day" I asked.

"I honestly don't know alright" he sighed.

A waiter came back and set our drinks down on the table.

I sipped my water slowly and I saw a piano in the main lobby of the hotel.

Guy sipped his "Adult Drink" and I saw Chris come down from the elevator and he gave me a warm smile.

But instantly his smile seemed to fade, he walked towards me and I knew something must have happened.

Will and Jonny also hobbled down here and their expressions seem dim also,
Something had happened to Phil.

I sat still at the table, I heard Chris mumble into Guys ear "did you tell Reese yet?"

"No, I wanted to wait for you guys to get down here as soon as possible" he whispered back.

The five of us were now sitting at the table.

Chris seemed to wipe away a few tears, Will locked his eyes flat into mine and he started speaking.

"Reese" Will calmly said.
