the sky now tinted in a gleaming colors of pinks, yellows and oranges mixed all into one master piece swirled all together, clouds absorb the bright colors and adding shadows to the beauty.

i take a sip of tea while my glasses sit on the bridge of my nose and the record player in the background crackles and sizzles.

i place down the mug to hear the lobby door open and guy and will walk in front the cooler outdoors and come and sit down at my table.

"how are you doing mate?" will asks in a friendly tone and he takes off his light jacket and he gives a small dimpled smile.

"i actually feel pretty good, i mean i guess i'm still alive that's all the really matters to me" i chuckled

will winked, his lips reflected a peachy shade and his teeth glistened and reflected off of any surface.

muffled follow behind the two guys, phil shuffles to the table with a greeting smile as he ruffles guys gelled hair with his hand.

"hey i'm going back up to my room for a little while it was nice seeing you guys"

they all gave waves as phil was pulling out one of chairs and sitting down across from the two other guys.

the steel elevator doors slid open in a swift motion and i climbed inside clicking the button to my floor as thankfully the box was empty.

zoning out the elevator dinged and i took a step out the box walking back to my room as people climbed into the elevator as i had left.

walking rather slow i looked at my old worn shoes to see how much i've walked in them because they'd been my only pair of shoes i ever owned because my parents never were able to afford much.

i walked past chris's room and the air was thick and silence echoed throughout the hotel corridors.

i gently curled my hand into a fist and knocked gently on his door and no response came, panicking that he may of done something again.

the door was cracked and i shoved it open to see nearly nothing except darkness yet the room was freezing and i scratched the back of my head.

investigating there was a small white object near the bed, it moved and it rushed over to it and it was chris unconscious.

i felt my heart begin to race uncontrollably and i started to panic, i gently laid my hands on his shoulders and moved him up into a sitting position and still nothing happened.

my arms began to shake as i tried lifting him the best i could, he lifeless body never came to life during this time.

after struggling i was able to lift him and his face remained pale which he looked more dead than alive.

he had a pulse which was fairly weak and i was starting to run out of time to think.

the guys were all in the main lobby and i didn't have time to risk it.

i didn't know what to do, i grabbed a plastic cup out of the bathroom and filled it up with water, rushing back to the bed as i tried my best to not spill any water.

i poured it onto chris' face and for a cold moment it had been all my fault and instant regret rang throughout my body.

cold blue eyes lifted and blinked in confusion not knowing what was going on.

his eyes came into focus and looked at me shivering, i wrapped him inside the blankets and his pale cheeks began to rise.

he looked ill and i knew something must have happened for the only time that he was alone.

"i'm a mess and i'm sorry for ruining everything."
