Chapter Sixteen

Chris and I walked down the hallway in search of the other guys and instantly my stomach dropped from what Jonny had slashed out at me.

Chris and I walked slow and quiet next to one another and neither of us said a word.

I looked at Chris to see tear stains on his face and he looked physically exhausted and emotionally drained.

We walked past many crew workers working very hard with tons of equipment still remaining around getting ready as quickly as possible.

6 hours before the show and Jonny yelled at me, Chris is trying so hard to hold it all together, Chris's guitar is also destroyed, Guy and Will are screaming at Jonny and Chris and I have absolutely no idea where they could be.

What a wonderful way to begin and kick off the Coldplay tour by either being angry or sad at one another.

Chris and I walked for a few more minutes around the stadium as we finally heard some faint shouting in the distance.

We reached a giant wooden door and Chris hesitated but he curled his fingers into a small fist as he knocked on the wooden door causing it to shake and echo.

He quietly took his shaking fingers away from the door as all the shouting immediately became fully silent.

"C-come in" Guys voice broke the silence.

Chris's shaking fingers wrapped around the door handle and he twisted the knob and slowly push the door open.

Guy remained sitting in a chair in the corner while Will held Jonny's collar of his shirt keeping him pinned against the wall.

Jonny was sobbing and screaming shouting  he was sorry and Will released Jonny as he ran to me hugging me tightly sobbing.

"R-Reese I'm s-so sorry please f-forgive me I d-didn't mean it I s-swear" Jonny cried.

I didn't know what to do and I was quiet for a moment thinking what I should do.

"It's okay" I quietly replied unlatching myself from Jonny.

"Reese I really didn't mean it, I'm sorry I wanted to know whatever it was that you knew" Jonny whispered while looking at Chris who had tears streaming down his face again.

Guy approached us from the corner and joined the rest of us in the middle of the room.

Everyone apologized for yelling at one another and for not making anything better.

We all joined in a group hug while some of us cried and the rest were silent.

"Shall we finish practice?" Will suggested.

"Yes I believe it will help us to get our minds off of whatever is making us all upset" Guy responded.

Jonny being as quiet as he is didn't say anything except he did nod and I wanted to tell him what occurred because he was defiantly closer to Chris than I was and he deserved to know what was happening to Chris.

I could tell Jonny had many things piled up in his brain and he was about to break and loose it all for real.

But he kept quiet as usual.
