Simon's P.O.V

"So let's get straight down to business, shall we?" I asked as I walked in to the board room. I am currently holding a business meeting with my staff, not including the artist I've signed. Linda, who is my main executive, spoke up as I took my seat at the head of the long meeting table. "Sir, I have the files for this months popularity levels of each of your artist," she said as she handed me the file. As I scanned it, I discovered One Direction's levels were off the charts, as usual.

"Very good. Thank you Linda," I told her as I handed back over the files. "So I'm going to cut straight to the chase. The main reason we are here is to see what's buzzing around the world, and find new up and coming artist to take interest in, or endorse." I stated to the whole room. Everyone nodded their head in understanding, so I turned to the teli set up behind my chair. I looked through all the cd's and programs we have created and found the one I was looking for. I quickly injected the CD and turned on the TV.

"Hi my names Chelsea Briggs. (Yeah I know that's a real interviewss name to all rights reserved to her). And welcome to the 411 on what's hot in the music industry right now. First up is, of course, One Direction!" As the host said this I quickly skipped that segment since I've already seen and heard it before.

"Okay, our next segment is theatre. Just last week the debut premiere of "Les Misérables" happened on October 12th at Broadway in NYC. Many people coming to the opening night were a bit skeptical of some of the roles casted in this play, but were soon blown away moments after the show started." I paused the show and turned to my staff.

"So, what she says next is the rather important part of the show. Pay close attention to the people they name," I instructed everyone. They all chorused a yes so I unpaused the show. "After reading through social media websites, the news, or newspaper many people found out that 2 of the Music University of London students were given big parts to contribute to Les Misérables. At first it was all just a rumor, but soon confirmed by a tweet sent out by the director Frank Simmons." The screen then changed to show a picture of the tweet sent out by Mr.Simmons. ( I don't have a twitter so bare with me please?)

Frank_Simmons: Yes, the rumors are true. Two of MUL's students are starring in Les Misérables. Their names are not being released yet but will be soon.

"Many people were quite shocked and quick to react. People were either supporting the two students, and others were in an outrage! However, in matter of vast opinion, many people would agree the girls did fabulous on the opening night! So who are these girls? Anne Hathaway's role was played by a young 20 year old named, Lainey Potter. After further research we found out that Lainey was able to move everyone in her audition and was immediately sent to the states to fill her role." I paused the video again here.

"I've got notes written down already sir," Roger, my researcher said. "I'll make sure to look further in to her," he said as he finished scribbling down notes. I nodded my head then un paused the video once more.

"It just so happens the other student that was sent to the states is Lainey's best friend on campus. Who is she? Emma Skye. Emma was said to awe struck everyone at her audition when she played an amazing piece from Les Misérables outstandingly. Just like Lainey, she was immediately sent to the states. Also, Mr. Simmons says that when he announced the girls roles to the rest of the cast the girls were unaware of the importance of their roles before that point. The two girls actually were under the impression they would be taking on small roles or extras so to say. Boy, did they get a surprise! Yet, the girls lived up to the challenge and the world is loving them already!" The announcer the gave a bit of background info on the girls that different people in the room wrote down.
