A/N: and we continue in to the moments of Lou and Lain. Just so u are all aware "Lain" is what I, or should I say my characters, will refer to Lainey as a lot of the time. Okay? Okay. Haha the fault in our stars moment. La tear 😥. Anyway comment on who u think Lain and/or Emma should end up with. It doesn't even have to be a 1D boy! I'm thinking of holding a contest for people to get a small character in the book, but I need ALOT more reads and votes so please try and spread the word on this story as much as you can please? I don't mean to sound needy but since I don't have much time to promote the book with sports and school you guys would be a big help. Thanks in advance... Sorry for the super long note. And quote will be at the end of the chapter again. This chapter is dedicated to @youtubeart because she guessed the quote first in chapter 20

Recap~~~~~~

But there are empty beer bottles on the table....

It was Lainey.

Louis's P.O.V

At first I was unable to really make any reaction. The only thing I could do was keep thinking to myself over and over again saying the same thing, in hope I could convince myself: we didn't do anything, we didn't do anything, we didn't do anything. The boys must have noticed some sort of panic on my face and quickly snapped me out of my hopeless state.

"Mate, I'm sure you two didn't do anything last night," Niall said dead serious, which sort of helped because he was never serious unless he really meant it. I nodded but I was still unconvinced.

"Look Lou, if your so worried about it why don't we all just try and help you two paint out last night?" Zayn suggested. I actually liked the sound of that, and better yet, Lain was already stirring so I wouldn't have to wait any more than a few minutes to start the process. Of course though, things never go completely according to plan for me because just then Harry walked in the living room.

"What are you guys doing here?" Poor Hazza looked so confused as to the whole situation. We filled him on everything up to this point and he agreed to help Lain and I figure out last night. He too reassured me that Lain and I most likely didn't do anything last night. Before I could go into another round of stress though, Lain finally woke up. Thank the heavens...

Lainey's P.O.V

"What the heck?" I woke up to five boys setting in Em and I's suite. "Why are you guys all here so early. Wait- how did you even get in?" I eyed them all suspiciously and Niall squirmed uncomfortably like a little kid being interrogated by his mother. Harry cleared his throat and I turned my attention to him. He reminded me of him and Lou driving me and Emma home last night. When he mentioned Lou it was only then I noticed how close together we were sitting on the couch. It seemed Lou did too because we both quickly put a bit of distance between us.

"Alright, I remember the part where you fell asleep in the kitchen Hazza, but how did Lou and I end up here?" I motioned around to the couch we were currently on. Lou huffed and then started talking.

"I can remember us coming in to the living room and setting down across from each other. We played twenty questions and truth or dare, if I'm correct. We were in the middle of truth or dare and my guess is we fell asleep sitting up." What Lou said made sense. The memories of last night flashed through my head quickly, and I don't remember properly falling asleep so that's what must have happened. Without much more debating we discovered that's all that happened last night.

"Phew, I really didn't want to have to be an uncle yet," Liam wiped the imaginary sweat from his forehead and both Lou and I whipped some pillows off the couch at him. My face was fire truck red while Louis literally play tackled Liam and they began "wrestling." The rest of the boys and I just chuckled at them. A few, or maybe a lot more rounds of Flappy Bird, Lou and Liam finished their little brawl. I announced I was going to get a shower than we could all go out and grab breakfast since I wasn't even 9 yet.
