Authors note: so I decided to call that last 3 part thingy chapter 5 therefore this is chapter 6 lol. But hopefully you all figured that out. Anyway so as I'm typing this I'm crying over the song "never grow up" by Taylor swift. I played it for my dad and I started crying! I know I'm pathetic but since I have a little brother like it says in the song, and my d sometimes leaves for months on end and the song says " memorize the sound of your dad coming home" it really got to me!!!

Sorry about my rant but seriously check the song out!

Btw this is back to Lainey's p.o.v and it skips to when her and Emma have landed in New York.

Lainey's P.O.V

Stupid oceans. Why do they have to be so large? It was a whole 18 hour plane ride for heaven sakes! Ain't nobody got time for that! Anyway, as of right now Emma and I are scanning this huge crowd of New Yorkers for Amber and her friend Libby, who are supposed to be here to pick us up. But, with Emma's jet leg it's mostly me searching for them. I don't get jet leg thank The Lord. On the downside, New Yorkers aren't nearly as kind as London folk.

"Would you keep moving! Watch where your going! What are you doing standing there? Move it!" This was just some of the profanities people were shouting at us, at least the nicer ones anyway. Finally, after about ten minutes of hopeless searching I caught sight of the strawberry blonde waves I knew so well.

"Amber!" I shouted, causing many people to turn and scowl at me, but if truth be told I didn't give a pineapple what they thought. Alls I cared about was getting to see one of my best friends. "Lainey!" Amber shouted back once she saw me. Then we had a total movie moment. You know, when two people come running in to each others arms in slow motion? Yeah, I know usually it's a boy-girl love thing, but we did it anyway. And yes, we also did slow motion.

By the time we wrapped each other in a rib breaking hug, tears managed to stop form both our eyes. "I don't care if it was only a few months, I missed you so much!" Amber mumbled in to my hair. "Aw, I felt the same way Ambi-Bambi!" I said, but also teased her. What it's been a while since I've got to! "Ugh, way to ruin the moment their "Rainey"," she teased back using the nickname I absolutely despised. "Oh I see how you want to play," I gave her evil smirk, and that's what she realized was happening. Anybody else would have ought we were insane, which we were but,,,,

Amber bolted down the escalators toward the parking garage yelling for Libby to help her. Libby, being the person she is, ignored her and walked off in the complete opposite direction to help Emma with the bags. There weren't that an so they will be fine, so I continued my man hunt for Amber, or is it a woman-hunt? Oh whatever...l

Three escalators, 4 almost face-plants, and 2 crowd weaves later I caught Amber by the car. "Gotcha!" I shouted as I tackled her. She simply groaned, but once we caught each others eyes we burst out laughing. Yes, I know we seem bipolar, don't judge. "I'm not even gonna get mad this time cause I missed you that much." She managed to say between our laughing fits. 15 minutes later Libby and a very tired looking Emma showed up.

"Geese, took you to slow-pokes long enough," Amber joked to them. "Just shut up and help us put these in the back," Emma sasses back jokingly. "Mam, yes mam." Amber and I saluted her, grabbed the bags, and loaded them up. All in the impressive time span of 12 seconds. Yes I counted. Problem?

"So what time is Hope and Collin getting in again?" I asked the girls. "They don't get in to 7 tonight, so we are going to drop your stuff off at the place your college gave you. Afterwards we will grab something to eat, then drive back here." Amber stated. "Wow, who are you and what have you done with Amber?" I joked. "What do you mean?" She stated clearly confused. " The Amber I know would never be responsible e ought actually remember the schedule for the day," I simply replied. This caused us all to go in to a huge laughing fit.
