Author's Note: This chapter is going to be split between many different P.O.V's but each one will be happening at the same time. If that doesn't make sense just read and see what I mean.
Emma's P.O.V
"I still can't believe Simon accused us being the ones to spill the time the boys plane is landing," I was still a bit upset that Simon would think we would do something so rude. Well, Lainey might but she wouldn't do it to be mean....
"Eh, I would have been shocked if he didn't," she shrugged in response and we both just admired Times Square as we walked to Starbucks. It was 7 p.m now and the boys plane doesn't land until 10:30. Since its a bit later at night, Im hoping a little less girls will be there. But you never know with directioners.
"OMG, omg! You- you two are Emma and Lainey!" This little girl around the age of 5 possibly stuttered.
"Yeah, that's us. What's your name sweetheart?"Lainey asked sweetly, as we both bent down to her level. Her parents seemed to visibly relax when we didn't get annoyed by their daughter.
"I'm- I'm Daisy. I love you two! I want to grow up and be just like you guys some day." Daisy gushed then blushed red.
"Aw, thank you so much. You know what? I wish I was as pretty as you," I confessed to her as I admired her perfect little blond ringlet curls that bounced when she moved. Her cheeks got even redder, and she mumbled a quiet thank you.
"Would you mind taking a picture with us Daisy?" Lainey took out her phone and Daisy nodded her head in surprise and excitement. I looked to her parents to make sure they were okay with it, and they nodded and took the phone from Lainey, and my digital camera.
"Smile girls," her Mom sing songed as she snapped the pictures. We thanked them and gave Daisy a hug good bye.
"Don't you just love doing that?" Lainey sighed dreamily and she spun in a circle. She bumped in to a guy walking by on accident, but we all know New Yorkers.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" He shouted rudely then stomped off. Lainey and I turned and made eye contact. Then we shouted it at the same time.
"Hey, I'm walkin 'ere!" We pulled our best Brooklyn accents then combusted in to laugh term while earning weird looks from the people around us.
Lainey pulled out her phone and posted the pic we took with Daisy and wrote about the wonderful fans. I got to say... I love New York.
Lainey's P.O.V
After we took our picture with Daisy, Emma and I headed to Starbucks and killed an hour drinking coffee and goofing off. Now we only had two and a half hours until the boys got here. "How about we head to the recording studio?" I suggested. Emma agreed and we headed outside. I hailed a cab and smirked at Emma.
We quickly slid inside and Emma gave the directions to the studio. "I do believe this is my seventeenth cab this week Em," I pretended to file my nails then blew the dust off. She just rolled her eyes. "I can't believe you are actually keeping count,". She murmured more to herself then me.
You see, when we first arrived in NYC we both were excited to hail our first New York cab. She may have hailed one before me, but since then I have hailed at least three times as many then she has in our last few months here. After we payed the cab driver we entered the recording booth.
Emma signed us in for a booth, and the receptionist barely noticed us. He had four empty cups of coffee on his desk, and looked over worked. I felt really bad, but still continued on my way to our room. As we walked in I couldn't help but feel a sense of being in haven.
