A/N: two updates back to back. I'm on a roll.

Lainey's P.O.V

Fours blocks, five blocks, all I can do is run: run, run, run. What am I even doing? Is this considered running away? But wait, to run away don't you have to run away from home? And New York isn't my home, Florida is. Neither is London, and I really don't want to go home right now. I love my parents, and I'm so blessed to have the life I do, but my parents weren't always around with their crazy schedules. I'm just lucky I was able to get out of the medical field myself. The only person I could think of that could possibly help me hasn't been available in two weeks: Elliot.

He has been doing some extreme training at a two week camp for an upcoming football or soccer tournament I forget which. He does so many sports I don't even know anymore. But I think he was supposed to be going back to campus today so maybe I could call him. He might be tired, or already asleep but oh well. What are little sisters for? I quickly unzipped my pocket and dialed my brother's number.

Ring.....ring....ring.... Three rings and still no answer and I was about to hang up after the fourth but by some stroke of luck, he picked up. "Hello?" Oops, he must have been sleeping, his voice was all groggy. "Hello, brother dearest!" I chirped as brightly as I could into the phone. "Ugh, what do you want?" He sassed me, did he seriously just sass me?

"Excuse me, did you just sass the sass-master? That is unacceptable!" I "yelled" at him.

"I'll do whatever the hell I want thank you very much," El said smugly and I just laughed at the pointlessness of the whole beginning of the conversation we are having.

"We are seriously getting nowhere with this you know that right?" I questioned his awareness of our stupidity.

" I know. Mom and Dad wouldn't be very happy. Speaking of them, you haven't happened to call and talk to them lately by any chance have you?" He sounded very hopeful when asking so I was very wary of giving him my reply.

"No. I was hoping you would have," I admitted. When he just groaned in reply I became scared to death of the phone call that awaits me later on tonight. "How was camp?" I inquired hoping to change the subject.

"Torture, but necessary. So tell me; what do I owe the pleasure of this phone call that is interrupting my sleep?" I knew he was on to me. Problem with siblings is they know how to figure you out. I just sighed in frustration over the decisions I need to make. "Oh God, I swear if I need to beat some boy up....." I quickly stopped him before he got graphic or angry.

"No no no.... It's not boy trouble at all. But I may or may not have a date-" my brother quickly interrupted me.

"A DATE? WITH WHO? It better not be one of those One Direction boys you are working with. Tell me right now!" Here we go. Over protective mode activated. I know he has seen the twins YouTube channel. Heck, he follows them! This could either turn out really good or really bad.

"You remember the JacksGap YouTube channel?" I heard him mumble a yeah so I continued. "Well I have a date with Jack. Jack Harries...." I squinted my eyes closed waiting for the worst to come.

"No way! You have a date with THE Jack Harries?! Nice catch sis! Didn't know you had it in ya. My little sister is dating Jack Harries. This is awesome I could be in laws with Jack and Finn Harries one day!" I'm having a hard time deciding if this turned out good or bad to tell the truth. On one hand I'm glad he isn't mad at my choice, but on the other he is blowing things way out of proportion.
