The Broken Games

Chapter 2 - Let The Games Begin!

The figure raised her arms. "It's time!" She announced loudly. As her voice echoed, round metal platforms lifted all the members of CCA into a large circle. There were about 4000 members and the dark figure expected a Hunger Games from them. The figure seemed to disappear from sight but her voice was still able to ring clearly through the new arena that started to take form. "There will be a countdown from 10 and when the count reaches 0 the platforms will lower enough for you all to jump down. I hope you all know how to play the Hunger Games because..." She paused for effect.
"It will soon start!"

Diamond looked over to her right and saw Jcc. She gave him an encouraging smile, signalling that she would protect him. The goat gave double thumbs up back as if saying he'd do the same for her. Diamond looked to her left and saw Sapphyre, they also exchanged signals to create a three-way alliance. The signs they used were only signals that true potatoes would use. Together, the threesome would do whatever it took to beat the Games. Suddenly the figure spoke again. "Also any powers that heal or can one shot people will be eliminated." After she made the new rule, a voice shouted out not too far away from Diamond. "WHAT?!" Vamp yelled out. "Does that mean I can't remake my molecules?!" He protested. Laughing was heard from the figure as an answer. "I'll take that as a no..." The red clothed skeleton grumbled. And as silence began to spread through the arena again, the countdown began.

10... 9...

Nervous shuffling came from the newer members.

8... 7...

Knuckles cracked from the most insane members.

6... 5...

Syro glared at Jcc.

4... 3... 2...

Everyone prepared to jump.

A gong sounded and the games began.

Diamond sprinted faster than the time Tim Hortons started selling Oreo donuts. She needed to reach the Cornucopia before anyone else did for a head start in the game. Diamond looked to the side and saw JCc pass her. His determination for the alliance exceeded quite well. He seemed to want to reach the Cornucopia as if it were a front row ticket to a TØP concert. On the other side Sapphyre ran shooting her stars at flailing newbies as she made her way with the alliance. She laughed as the new members fell to the ground. "That's for spamming off topic posts!" She shouted with a smirk.

JCc reached the Cornucopia first. He grabbed a sword and a sandwich. He saw a random member pop up beside him so he instinctively swung the sword, killing the member. "Whoahhh." He said, realizing how powerful he felt with the weapon. Soon after, Diamond and Sapphyre reached the Cornucopia with JCc. Diamond grabbed all the knives she could find and placed them in a backpack. She squealed in excitement. "KNIVES!!! YAY!" She cried happily. Sapphyre took notice of the katana's, so she took one of them and sliced through the air with it as a test. "Nice." She said with a smile. Then the three prepared themselves for battle. They knew from the Hunger Games books and movies that the Cornucopia was going to be a real big blood bath.

Pika and Syro arrived at the Cornucopia and saw the alliance. "Aw do we have to fight you guys? Your still smol pleb child's." Pika said. JCc shrugged. "I dunno." Diamond and Sapphyre glanced at each other then Sapph spoke up. "What if we ignore each other for now?" She suggested. Syro nodded. "Yeah may as well." Then he and Pika ran off into the woods. Diamond stood there. "Ok then."

Suddenly fast moving footsteps were heard, also rustling leaves. The trio turned around and saw Fleafy, the green and sinful flower, and two other members that weren't recognized. Sapphyre stepped forward. "I'll take care of Fleafy." She stated as she swung her sword forward. "Yeah take care of me. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" Fleafy said in a creepy tone. "Ew." Sapphyre cringed and sliced the flower right in two before he could say anything else.

JCc took on the member on the right. "Hey look! It's Jelsa!" The member said in a taunting voice. JCc froze, he clenched his fist around his sword handle. The second the member spoke was the second he sealed his fate. JCc sprung forwards, anger burned within him as he stabbed them right through the middle and threw him to the side. "Nobody calls me Jelsa." He said in a dark tone. Seconds after, Diamond popped up and whispered into his ear. "Hi Jelsa." She snickered. JCc looked at the little neko with an annoyed face. "Really?" He said. "Hehe" Diamond giggled back tauntingly. She then stepped towards the last attacker.

"Let's dance." Diamond smirked, holding up her knives. Her brown eyes started to slightly taint red at the anticipation of the fight. The member looked at her and said. "I'll be the better dancer!" Then he started to do the shuffle. "EVERY DAY I'M SHUF-SHUFFLING." Diamond looked at him. "That's not the kind of dancing I meant..." She said. The member turned back. "Oh then what type of dance?" Diamond shined a smile. "The dance of death!" She said happily as she threw a knife straight through the members head. "Heheheheheheh..." She chuckled with insanity. Sapphyre and JCc exchanged glances then shrugged. "We better find shelter." Sapphyre noticed. So the threesome headed into the forest.

They walked through the trees and ducked under branches in search for a temporary home for the night. The sun was starting to set and everyone wanted rest so they could get a good start for the next day. Eventually they found a small cave so they all crawled in. Diamond looked around. "Hey this reminds me of the movie! Except Katniss and Peeta aren't making out like-" JCc stepped in. "OKAY. Don't give Sapphyre any idea-" "too late!" Sapphyre smiled mischievously. "What a Diac moment." She said. JCc's eyes widened. "I AM NOT GOING TO MAKE OUT WITH DIAMOND, SAPPHYRE." Sapphyre and Diamond laughed and eventually everyone joked around until they finally fell asleep.
