Chapter 17 - Planets Colliding

Kittens was fighting Blade, Mars was fighting Saturn and the alliance was left with a choice.
"It's practically choosing who would live!" Lilly exclaimed.
"Yeah... We'd give one side too many numbers so it would be unfair." JCc put in.
"Maybe we can just walk awa-" Diamond started to say before getting cut off by Sapphyre.
"I don't know about you guys but I'm helping Saturn and Kittens!" She announced before running to Saturn's side.
"Same!" JCc said as he ran towards Kittens leaving Diamond and Lilly standing there watching.
"Well then." Diamond huffed.
"What should we do now?" Lilly asked, turning to look at the neko.
"Eh, may as well help Blade and Mars to keep the fight even." Diamond suggested, shrugging her shoulders.
"Good plan!" Lilly said, giving a double thumbs up before heading over to Mars. Diamond smirked at the thought of getting some action and she began to head over to Blade.

Saturn saw Lilly head over to Mars and she hissed a curse under her breath.
Two against one? Come on... She thought to herself angrily. But then Saturn felt a hand on her shoulder so she turned to see Sapphyre.
"Ready?" The star guardian asked.
Saturn smiled a little bit, knowing that the fight would be more interesting since it had evened up in numbers.
"Definitely." Saturn replied, fist-bumping Sapphyre.

Mars narrowed his eyes.
"This is going to be tough against the two of them..." He said to Lilly. Lilly just smiled.
"We can do it." She said with a mischievous look. Mars slowly nodded back and Lilly passed him an extra knife she had. Mars took it into his hands gratefully and prepared himself into a defensive position. Saturn attacked first using her mini planets. Mars blocked and sliced them in half with his knife. He looked to his side and saw Lilly sprint past him towards Saturn and Sapphyre. Sapphyre noticed what Lilly was doing so she quickly moved in her way.
"I can't really hurt you since we're in an alliance so..." Sapphyre began to say before shooting out her foot and kicking Lilly's ankle, tripping her.
"Gah!" She called out as she fell.
"Have a nice trip!" Sapphyre laughed before running back to Saturn.
"Hey Sap, you keep an eye on Lilly to cover me. I'll go out and kick some Mars butt!" She said. Sapphyre nodded and faced Lilly again as Saturn began walk forwards.

Mars hit another mini planet but he soon realized that they had stopped being shot at him. He looked to where Saturn was standing but now he knew that she was coming closer. He held his knife out in front of him, a focused expression showing on his face. He and Saturn have had fights before but they weren't as serious as this one.
"So this is is huh?" He asked.
"If you mean our last fight, then yeah. It is it." Saturn replied holding out her hand. Mars looked at Saturn suspiciously at her odd gesture. Suddenly, a purple glow swirled from her shoulder down to her fingertips and a small black battle axe with red swirls carved into it formed in above her hand. After it finished it fell into Saturn's grip and she let a smirk play across her face.
"You ready?" She asked.
"Definitely." Mars replied, taking a step forward.

The fight Lilly and Sapphyre were in had seemed to turn into a wrestling match for fun.
"You'll never beat me!" Sapphyre stated confidently.
"Oh yeah?" Lilly said, tackling the star guardian to the ground. Sapphyre pulled on Lilly's ponytail but then something caught her eye and she stopped in her tracks.
"Hey, do you see that?" She asked. Lilly tilted her head.
"See what?"
"That purple light." Sapphyre answered, pointing towards Saturn and Mars. Lilly turned her head and gazed at the spectacular sight of Saturn's weapon taking form.
"That's so cool..." Lilly said in awe. Suddenly Sapphyre stood up.
"We should watch the fight!" She suggested.
"Yeah, screw our fight! We're not even trying." Lilly agreed. Sapphyre laughed then grabbed Lilly by the wrist and pulled her towards the two 'planets' to watch.

Kittens high fived JCc who stood beside her. But she jumped back from surprise as she noticed that his usual pure white hand was now completely black.
"Uh... JCc what's that..?" She asked curiously.
"It's a long story, I'll explain later. But right now we've got a fight to win." He said signalling towards Blade and Diamond with a smile.
"Ha, alright!" Kittens replied, swinging up a whip that was hanging from her belt.
"Let's do this."

"Are you sure you want to go against JCc?" Blade asked.
"Well technically I'll be helping you go against Kittens and JCc so that's ok!" Diamond replied.
"But what if JCc gets hurt?" Blade asked, slightly afraid of the neko's answer. Diamond's face darkened and her eyes flared red.
"Then whoever caused my bae pain would N E V E R walk again." She explained, insanity slowly creeping into her voice.
"Oh." Blade said, a little terrified.
"Ok let's fight now! Diamond exclaimed, excitedly running to Kittens and JCc. Blade shrugged his shoulders and joined her pulling out a knife with a longer and curved blade.
"A blade for a Blade!" He said, feeling proud of his clever pun. Diamond lightly punched his shoulder.
"Nice."

"Alright here they come." Kittens stated, noticing that Blade and Diamond had begun to run towards them.
"Hey look, Blade's weapon is a blade." JCc said before he began to obnoxiously laugh.
"Please end me now." He finished afterwards.
Kittens just let out a 'phht' sound, obviously disappointed in the goat.
"Ok, but before we begin the fight... what about Dia?" Kittens asked. JCc just gave her a look that explained it all. It were as if he were saying: 'Touch her and you're dead.' Kittens shrugged her shoulders.
"I'll just be careful, I won't use my weapon against her, is that ok?" Kittens asked. JCc wasn't even able to answer because Blade and Diamond had begun to attack and the fight ha to come into action.
