"AAAAAAAAAAGH!" Saturn screamed in agony. She was crouching down beside Kittens and she was shouting up to the sky.
"WHY DID SHE DIE?" She yelled, her voice scratchy from all of her screaming. She turned her head and looked back down at Kittens. Her eyes were glazed and lifeless so Saturn gently closed them with tears streaming down her face.
"Saturn I-" Blade began to say nervously.
"SHUT UP." She yelled, not even looking back at him. Blade winced and walked away to give Saturn space. Mars walked with him to make sure he was ok. Saturn slid her hands underneath Kittens' head and her upper back to lift her towards herself and looked at her peaceful expression.

"Hey guys?" Saturn quietly called.

"Yes?" Sapphyre asked

"You know how we used to joke about living in hell?"

"Yeah, why?"

Saturn had more tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Because... I think we are actually in hell now..." She said, touching her forehead with Kittens'. Sobs caused her to shudder as she did so.
"Saturn?" Sapphyre spoke up from behind.
"Yes?" She asked, not looking back.
"Do you want a hug?" Sapphyre asked.
Saturn stayed silent for a moment then turned to look at the star gaurdian, JCc and Diamond who all had sympathy in their eyes. Saturn teared up and gave a small nod. Sapphyre came closer to Saturn and sat down, embracing her in a hug. Saturn only cried more in response. But soon the tears slowed to a stop as if she had run out. Her throat felt dry and sore and a wave of dizziness came over her. Saturn shook her head in disappointment. She had cried herself to dehydration. It didn't help with the fact that she hadn't had much water lately because of the games. But that's when Saturn took a breath and felt her hand brush against something. Her axe. Her expression darkened. The reason Kittens died was because of Blade and her weapon could help serve out revenge.

Mars leaned back against a tree, the branches above offering shade in the dimmer afternoon light. He glanced at Blade who was sitting on the ground, his legs folded underneath him and his eyes dull and fixed onto the grass.

"You ok?" Mars asked.

"I just killed one of my friends what do you think?" Blade answered coldly.

"Sorry, I take back my question." Mars said.

"Taking back your words won't take back what I did to Kittens..." Blade whispered.

Mars frowned. Blade has never been this down before and it made Mars worried. He slid his back down the tree until he was sitting beside his blonde friend.
"You know, this game changes people and it's not your fault she died. Remember when we had to fight Dash?" Mars asked.
Blade nodded.
"She went insane because the game stressed her out... But that's not the same as me right? I'm not crazy am I?" Blade worried.
"No, your not crazy. You were just a little bit off there. It's normal when your in a game meant for everyone to kill their friends." Mars explained. Blade looked up at the redhead.
"That's not exactly comforting." He said.
"Im not done, I just want you to know that you're not alone. We've all done some pretty bad things since the Broken Games started but we can figure out who the dark figure is and why they started this in the first place and together we can stop them!" Mars exclaimed.
Blade smiled.
"We both know that won't happen but thanks Mars, that made me feel a bit better... But something confuses me. Why is this called the Broken Games?" Blade asked.
Mars tilted his head in thought.
"To be honest I'm not sure, the word has just been spreading around lately. But if I were to guess I'm pretty sure it's called that because this game breaks friendships, breaks sanity and the game is just pretty broken up in general." Mars said.
"True." Blade agreed.
The two sat there for a while but then a shout was heard.

"Saturn, what are yo- AHH!"

It was Diamond's voice. Mars and Blade straightened up at the neko's shout. More distant yelling was going on but they couldn't make out the words so they stood and without a second thought, they ran to where the rest of the group was.
"Guys what's happening?" Blade asked, looking back and forth.
Saturn was standing there, in front of Kittens' body and Diamond sprawled out on the ground beside her, clutching her locket while blood pooled around her from a gash in her side. JCc was at her side pressing on the wound with a scared yet angry expression. And blackness began to crawl up from underneath his sweater collar up to his cheeks. Meanwhile Sapphyre and Lilly stood in front of Saturn with weapons in hand. Although Lilly's knives and Sapphyre's katana would be no match to Saturn's battle axe they stood confidently.

"Blade..." The vengeful planet hissed, her long purple hair slightly flowing to the side from a small breeze.
"Saturn what are you doing?" Mars asked demandingly, stepping forward.
"Making sure that Kittens' is avenged." Saturn answered.
"That gives you no reason to kill Blade!" Lilly shouted.
"Yeah, he didn't mean to end her life! He just wanted to knock her out!" Sapphyre agreed.

"THAT'S NO EXCUSE!" Saturn screamed. Everyone fell into silence. Blade stepped forward.

"Saturn..."

"YOU KILLED HER."

"Saturn wait, please listen, I honestly didn't mean to-"

Blade was cut off by blood choking him. Some of the dark red liquid trailed out of his mouth and that's when the pain struck him. The searing fire that seemed to burn within him as Saturn brought down her weapon. The edge of her axe head cut down his shoulder to the lower part of his chest. Blade's eyes widened and the axe stopped. He felt it being pulled out and the world around him spun. He didn't feel anything after that. All he saw was Mars running to his side with tears staining his face.

"BLADE DON'T LEAVE ME!"

Mars' words seemed to echo off into the distance but Blade could feel that this wasn't okay. His friend needed comforting. Blade let his eyes slip closed and he used his last ounce of strength to speak.

"Mars... Stay... You'll be... Alright..."
