Chapter 14 - Fighting for Love

"NO!"
Milk Tea screamed in a squeaky little voice. He began to waddle away as fast as he could but Syro was fast. He reached down and scooped up the little cup in his hands.
"NO! ONLY JIMMY CAN DRINK ME-"
Milk Tea screamed. Syro was about to say something but then he heard JCc and Sapphyre laughing out loud behind him.
"Ha ha ha! I'm guessing Jimmy drank you before?!"
JCc guessed, laughing.
"Jimmy and Milk Tea sitting in a tree!
K-I-S-S-I-N-G"
Sapphyre began to sing tauntingly. Milk Tea made a grumpy face which looked quite adorable due to him having small Kawaii features since he is a cup.
"It's slipped out! Stop it! Jimmy and I aren't a thing!"
Milk Tea protested.

"What?"

A sad voice said from behind Syro and Milk Tea. Diamond, Lilly, JCc and Sapphyre's jaws dropped. A boy with blonde hair and a comfortable looking red sweater stood there looking at Milk Tea with a hurt expression.
"What do you mean about us not being a thing? I thought we had something special..."
He said.
"Syro put Milk Tea down."
Lilly ordered. Syro hesitated and he could feel his mouth water for the desire of just sipping the sweet warm tea. But he knew that he and Jimmy needed to sort things out so he gently placed the cup on the ground to waddle to his love.

"Jimmy I-"
He began to say while he waddled.

"Milk Tea... Why did you say that?"

"They were making fun of us... About how you drank-"

"Shh."
Jimmy hushed Milk Tea before he finished his sentence. Blush began to turn his face red.

"Don't be ashamed of our love ok?"
Jimmy said while he gently picked up Milk Tea and looked him in the eyes.

"Ok."

The cup said. They both smiled and closed their eyes. Then Jimmy brought Milk Tea closer and their lips touched into a soft kiss.

Lilly watched with a tear escaping her eye.
"It's so beautiful..."
She whispered. Diamond and Sapphyre hugged each other tightly jumping up and down excitedly.
"It's canon! It's canon! Jimmy tea is canon!"
They whisper-chanted. JCc was looking at them as if taking notes on how to kiss and Syro looked disgusted.
"Hey, that's my tea your kissing!"
Syro shouted, ruining the moment. Jimmy and Milk Tea broke away from each other and looked at Syro. Milk Tea looked frightened, he didn't want Syro to drink him.
"Leave my boyfriend alone! He's my tea not yours!"
Jimmy said pulling out a knife from his pocket.
"He may be yours right now but I want a drink. I went through hell and I need tea!"
Syro shouted, running forward to the couple. Jimmy turned and sprinted away towards a tree and began to climb it, holding a shivering Milk Tea in one hand. Syro began to climb up as well once he reached the tree.

Meanwhile Lily, Sapphyre, JCc and Diamond watched.
"I wish I had some popcorn."
Sapphyre said.
"Same."
Lilly agreed.
"I wonder if they'll try and kill each other."
Diamond thought aloud.
"Is it weird I kind of hope they do? I mean... This is really intense and entertaining."
JCc said. Everyone nodded their heads in agreement. Then they all sat down in the grass and continued to watch.

Jimmy held tightly onto the high branches of the tree. If he climbed any further then the thin branches would snap against his weight.

"Milk Tea... I can't climb any higher. You have to keep going to stay safe! I'll hold off Syro."
Jimmy said, his hair blowing in the wind.
"No! You could be killed! I don't want to lose you..."
Milk Tea said, tears edging his eyes.
"It's ok Milk Tea... Just go."
Jimmy said, placing the cup on a branch for him to climb up. Syro was slowly coming closer.

Jimmy began to make his way down to Syro, knife in hand.
"You have to get though me to drink my bae!"
Jimmy yelled as he swung down with his weapon. Syro ducked his head and dodged it.
"I want tea and I'm going to get it whether you like it or not!"
Syro shouted back. He grabbed onto Jimmy's foot and began to tug on him to break his balance. Jimmy gripped tighter around the branches he held onto and tried to shake his foot so Syro would let go. The shaking caused Syro to slip on the branch his feet were on and then he was just hanging by holding onto Jimmy.
"AH! Syro let go you pleb!"
Jimmy shouted as he felt his hands start to slip on the branch.
"No I can't let go yet, I haven't had my tea!"
Syro replied. And that's when Jimmy's hands reached its limits and slipped off the branch. Syro and Jimmy fell from some of the highest branches of the very tall tree. Diamond, Lilly, Sapphyre and JCc who were watching, began to sprint to where the would land to make sure they were ok. And Milk Tea screamed the loudest he could as he watched his true love fall.

Syro and Jimmy lay, unable to move.
"Maybe I shouldn't have been so desperate for tea... Sorry."
Syro whispered, breathing heavily from the impact of the fall.
"Shut up you almost killed my bae."
Jimmy snapped back. Suddenly, Sapphyre ran and slid to a halt at Syro's and Jimmy's side. Followed by Lilly then JCc and Diamond.
"You guys ok?"
Lilly asked.
"Not really..."
Syro replied, obviously injured. Sapphyre looked at her friends who weren't hurt and they all understood that the tree was very tall and Jimmy and Syro fell from a dangerous height. There was a very likely chance they wouldn't survive.

Milk Tea looked down. Jimmy was going to die and the little cup was stuck high up in a tree. There was no way he could make it down in time to say goodbye. But then a thought struck his mind. What if he didn't have to say goodbye... Ever? He looked down and shivered. The thought of death scared him but he knew, being a cup he wouldn't survive the games anyways. So he decided to jump.

Jimmy heard a crash beside him and Milk Tea shattered from him falling from the top of the tree.

"Milk Tea why did you-"

"I can't live without you... I love you..."

A small piece of the remains of Milk Tea said before silence took over.
"Milk Tea... I... Love you... Too."
Jimmy whispered before he closed his eyes and let the darkness take over. Syro watched and the love made him think of who he missed.
"At least I'll get to be with Pika again..."
He said before joining Jimmy and Milk Tea, closing his eyes.

Lilly bit her lip, stood up and announced,

"...They're gone."
