Diamond slid to a halt right beside Lilly and Syro.
"Uh... What happened?"
She asked.
"I almost killed him."
Lilly whispered. Diamond shot a warning look at her.
"Don't hurt Syro."
She said with no emotion in her voice.
"Sorry..."
Lilly apologized quietly.
"I'm alive still!"
Syro cheered while still laying on the ground, bruises scattered on his face.
"Speaking of still alive..."
He continued.
"How's Pika?"

Diamond felt tears edge her eyes and she clenched her fist.
"Syro I'm so sorry... Pika is dead."

Sapphyre dodged another knife flung out from 'Kamila'. It leaped up and then a spear appeared at her hand. It threw it quickly at the star guardian. Sapphyre barely dodged it in time and the spear left a small scratch on her cheek.
"Kamila if your still in there say something!"
She called.
"You can't awake her. Only I'm here now."
'Kamila' cackled. Sapphyre swung down with her sword. A miss.
"Rrg... Come on!"
She hissed in frustration. She hadn't landed a single hit ever since the beginning of they're fight. Sapphyre leaped upwards and summoned a huge star underneath her. She nimbly landed on it and crouched down. The star acted like a hover board. Her katana still in hand. The star began to levitate upwards into the sky until Sapphyre was high up in the air.

"Let's see if you can dodge this!"

Sapphyre shouted before raising both her arms, summing hundreds of sharp edged, falling stars to rain upon 'Kamila'. It began to run forwards. Zig zagging back and forth to avoid the stars but it couldn't miss them all. Cuts began to show up on 'Kamila's' arms and sides. It hissed in anger as it saw Sapphyre zooming down towards them.

"Watch your step!"

Sapphyre shouted sarcastically as she held out an arm while rushing past 'Kamila'. She pushed her over as she went by and went back up into the air. As 'Kamila' was knocked onto her back Sapphyre made another move and summoned even more stars. But that's when 'Kamila' began to get sick of fighting.

"Time to end this nonsense."

It said, closing its eyes. A dark hue arose from 'Kamila' and it began to rise up into the air.

It can fly?!

Sapphyre thought in her head. She began to back off a little bit, wondering what the 'Kamila' would do next. It flew towards Sapphyre with a spear in hand but Sapphyre dodged just in time causing 'Kamila' to go straight through a tree. Pieces of wood and sharp shards of bark exploded everywhere but 'Kamila' didn't stop. It was covered in scrapes and bruises after that but it didn't seem to even care. Sapphyre looked at it and thought a bit.

It seems to be pushing itself... If this keeps up then Kamila would probably die more painfully... I have to kill it now.

She thought to herself. She knew that Kamila would have to die regardless of what happened. She can't escape from being possessed and Sapphyre needed to make sure that the real Kamila wouldn't suffer because of the possessor's actions. Sapphyre became more serious with the fight. Instead of just trying to stop 'Kamila' she had to kill it.

'Kamila' landed on the ground as if flying had caused it to grow tired. But it leaped back up into the air once more, refusing to slow down. To Sapphyre's dismay, Kamila's' forehead was now beaded with sweat.

"Poor Kami..."

The star guardian whispered. Then she readied her katana, holding it high above her head with both hands. Then the second 'Kamila' got close again, Sapphyre swung down, striking it in the shoulder. The blackness lifted off of Kamila's neck as she fell to the ground.

Sapphyre dove downwards with her star and landed beside her friend. Kamila had a huge gash from her shoulder down to her chest. She gasped and coughed a bit of blood before looking up.
"I'm sorry..."
Sapphyre said quietly with tears streaming down her face.
"Thank... You..."
Kamila gasped before closing her eyes to let darkness cloud her vision.

Rebel imagined Vamp's blood red eyes with a smile on his face.

I'll never be able to see him again thanks to this stupid goat...

She thought angrily. Rebel looked down at the blood dripping down from her axe. If she killed Pika then killing her son couldn't be that hard... Could it?

Rebel suddenly lunged out, swinging the axe in one hand. JCc swiftly dodged it and countered with a swing from his sword. Rebel brought up her axe just in the nick of time and blocked his attack. They held their positions, blade scaping against blade. Then after a few moments they stepped back.
"Why aren't you using your powers?"
Rebel questioned suspiciously.
"Because you can't use your powers and I want this to be a fair fight."
The goat answered. Rebel hissed a curse under her breath. She couldn't stand the fact that JCc was going 'easy' on her. So she upped her game.

Rebel's eyes flashed green. Then she ran towards JCc who swung at her. A miss. Rebel grabbed his blade, clenching her teeth as she felt it cut into her hand. Then she ripped it away from JCc's grip and flung it too the side.
"Use your powers and don't go easy on me!"
Rebel shouted angrily.
"You killed my mom. Who said I was going easy on you? I wanted a fair fight but..."
JCc let the ground around him start to set aflame.
"...After a bit of thought I think that you deserve a more painful death."
JCc felt hate slowly swirl around his arms, stopping at his shoulders. But he didn't care. He was facing the one who murdered Pika. So what if the hate gets a little closer to taking his soul. He knew that regardless of what he did, the hate would take over eventually. Rebel began to slowly step backwards as the ground underneath JCc spread the flames outwards in a spiralling motion. JCc smirked and looked at Rebel straight in the eyes before talking again.

"Ever heard about death by fire?"
