Chapter 3 - A Lost Friend

The threesome woke up with aches in they're back. "Ow. I'm never sleeping in a cave again." JCc complained. Sapphyre looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Your a goat! You live in the mountains!" She snapped. "Well not this goat! I need my headphones..." He said. Sapphyre face palmed. "You have your headphones!" She pointed at the pair that he was currently wearing. JCc made a pouty face. "Well I need my other headphones too!" He whined. Sapphyre shook her head, disapprovingly. Diamond yawned. "Can you guys shut up? I'm trying to sleep." Both JCc's and Sapphyre's mouths dropped open. "ON THIS ROCK FLOOR?!" They exclaimed together. Diamond blinked a few times. "No I'm sleeping on a royal bed." She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. Sapphyre and JCc glanced at each other but then shrugged, they knew not to question Diamond's strange ways of life.

Eventually everyone headed out of the cave to collect some berries and water to survive. Suddenly JCc heard typing sounds so he looked around. He then spotted a girl on her phone. She had a light blue shirt with orange decorations, her eyes were bright green and her hair was black with blue highlights. JCc didn't recognize her so he went for the kill. He sprinted quickly like a ninja and stabbed straight through her before she could notice his presence. She gasped in shock and pain. Diamond and Sapphyre heard and ran over. "JCc were you attacked!? Are you ok?" Diamond asked frantically. She halted to a stop when she saw that her friend Arima was the one that was killed. Sapphyre broke out laughing. "JCC YOU JUST KILLED ARIMA HA!" She scream-laughed. "DIAMONDS GONNA KILL YOU HA HA!" JCc's eyes widened. "Oh, oops." Diamond gave JCc a look of disappointment. "JCc... What the hell was that." She said in a stern tone. The goat fidgeted around and then checked back to Arima who was laying on the ground. He saw that she was still awake and aware. "Hey look she's still alive!" He said. Diamond instantly ran too her and looked up at JCc. "For your punishment you can feel bad for her as we do the thing Katniss did for Rue!" She exclaimed tauntingly to JCc. He looked back at Diamond and said, "Oh ok good, I thought the punishment would be-" Diamond cut in, "A PUNishment?" She smiled. JCc screeched. "AAAAAAHH NO!" Sapphyre was now rolling on the ground laughing. She couldn't wait to see JCc suffer because of Diamond.

Afterwards the three collected flowers and Arima watched them as they crouched down beside her. Arima looked up at them. "So I'm dying because a goat stabbed me?" She said unhappily. Sapphyre nodded. "Yup." Arima frowned. "Wow, I better get something cool for-" She cut off into a coughing fit, blood was starting to appear at the rim of her mouth. JCc ducked his head a bit, feeling bad for what he had done. "What's next?" Sapphyre asked. Diamond started trying to remember what happened in the movie. "We don't have to sing do we?" JCc hoped. Sapphyre jumped up. "SING!?" She exclaimed, shoving Diamond and JCc out of the way. "I've got this!" She said. Diamond clapped her hands excitedly. "Yay!" She cheered. Sapphyre cleared her throat and began.

"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen~."

JCc's eyes widened. "Sapphyre no!" He yelled.

"The kingdom of icelation, and it looks like... I'm the queen, the wind is howling like the swirling storm inside~
Couldn't keep it it, heaven knows I tried~.

JCc couldn't take it anymore and tackled Sapphyre to the ground. "NO." He scolded. Diamond watched laughing, "JCc just let it go!" She said. JCc did the classic goat scream in rage. Arima watched and coughed up blood as she laughed. Everyones attention went to her once again. Arima looked up at all of them. "Hey Dia, I commented... On your story..." She said before her last breath left her. Diamond teared up a bit. "She commented on my story? Yay." Sapphyre glared at JCc. "Seriously? You killed her as she was commenting?" JCc replied back with a defensive look. "I didn't know!" Sapphyre just glared at him then started to collect the flowers and place them around Arima. Diamond and JCc joined her and soon Arima looked just like how Rue did in the hunger games.

The sun was starting to set so the sky was painted beautiful oranges and pinks. The threesome sat at the entrance of their cave and watched the sunset in awe. Diamond piped up. "Hey JCc, I almost forgot your punishment..." She said with an evil smile. Sapphyre smirked at Diamond. "You forgot? You've GOAT to be kidding me!" "Hey don't!" JCc pleaded, not wanting to hear any puns. Diamond gave him an innocent look. "Come on, LETTUCE entertain you!" She said while holding up a random lettuce. Sapphyre looked at her. "Where did you get that?" She wondered out loud. Diamond gave her a weird look. "Don't ask..." She hissed and placed the lettuce inside of her sweater. Sapphyre shrugged her shoulders then went into the cave. JCc and Diamond followed her and they all settled to sleep.

The next morning, the alliance decided to go on a people hunting spree. This was the Hunger Games and they wanted it to be over as quickly as possible. They searched the forest for any unsuspecting targets to kill. All they wanted was to go back to the regular CCA chat room and nerd out. Suddenly, a beep was heard throughout the arena. The dark figures voice was heard on a speaker. "Hello everyone, those of you who can hear this are the ones who have survived the first two days! Congrats! Why is this so important you may ask? Well, all of you are the survivors of the first thousand deaths in the game. So many deaths in yet such little time. Have fun my little monsters~!" She cooed before ending her announcement. The three friends glanced at each other with wide eyes. A thousand deaths have already happened and the Games had barely begun.
