Alex's POV:
*Tuesday, January 13, 2014, 6:10 a.m.*
I picked up my phone from my bedside table when I heard it ring, waking me up.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey, babe!" I heard Gabe's voice.
"It's so early, what do you want?" I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes.
"Wow, rude!" he said, making me laugh.
"Okay, okay. Let me try again: Good morning, babe! How can I help you?"
"Much better," I could basically hear his smile through the phone. "Get dressed, we're going to the mall.
"What? You mean ditch school?"
Gabe laughed, "Yes I mean ditch school."
"Okay, just let me check if my parents left for work already," I laughed.
I got out of bed and made my way over to my door. I slowly opened it to check and see if my parents were in their room or anywhere in the house.
After I concluded that they weren't home, I put my phone back to my ear and said, "Yeah, they're gone. When are you going to be here?"
Gabe thought for a few seconds and said, "I'll come over now and we'll sleep for a little before hitting the mall?"
"Sounds good," I smiled even though he couldn't see.
"Okay, I'll see you soon. Love you."
"Love you, too, Batman."
We both hung up and I was still dead tired. My eyes were barely open and, when I looked in the mirror, I looked like crap.
I picked up my hair brush and ran it through my hair, removing all the tangles and returning it to its natural, straight, and soft state. I didn't bother trying to put on makeup because I was just going to go back to sleep anyways and Gabe's seen me when I've looked my worst.
I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face before Gabe came over.
It wasn't until ten minutes after our phone call that I heard the doorbell. I made my way down the stairs and opened the door to let Gabe in.
He greeted me with a kiss and I locked the door behind him before grabbing his hand and pulling him up the stairs, into my room.
He lied down on my bed while I went to go sit at my desk. I opened up my laptop and logged into my mom's email. I quickly sent an email to my school saying that I wasn't going to be at school because I wasn't feeling well. I pressed the send button and waited for it to send. I went to the "Sent" box and deleted the message that I had just sent before logging out of my mother's email.
After that I crawled back into bed and cuddled with Gabe. He softly pressed his lips to my temple before we drifted off into sleep.
Dalton's POV:
*Tuesday, January 13, 2014, 3:12 p.m.*
I looked down at my phone and checked the time.
Where was she? Em said she would meet me at our usual spot.
I sighed and sat down on the grass, leaning my back against the tree. I decided to stop looking. The more I looked, the longer it would feel like. I set my guitar down and let it lay next to me.
I looked back down at my phone and scrolled through Instagram, seeing a bunch of pictures of food, selfies, Outfit Of The Day, and Transformation Tuesday pictures.
