Nikki's POV:
*Monday, July 27, 2015, 8:00 p.m.*"Ugh," I groaned as I sat on Darcie's couch.
Lina, Emily, Alex, and I had all come over to visit Darcie since she just finished moving into her new place.
"What's wrong?" Alex asked.
"My headshots from the photographer I went to see Saturday came out awful," I complained. "I swear, it was like he didn't know what he was doing. I've taken better pictures in photography class."
"Are you going to get new ones done?" Lina asked.
"I want to, but it's so expensive," I explained. "These ones were free because MSA provides them."
"Well that's probably why they sucked," Darcie laughed. "A lot of things that are free tend to suck."
"What am going to do?" I laughed.
"I can take them!" Emily offered.
I thought back to when we had photography class together senior year. From what I remember, she was really good.
"You still take pictures?" I asked, surprised.
"Yeah," she laughed. "That was my grad present from my parents, remember? They got me a DSLR!"
"Oh shit, my bad!" I laughed. "Yeah, could you take them for me then?"
"Yeah, dude," she laughed. "Just let me know when and we can find a spot."
"Anyways," Alex changed the subject. "Guess what I brought!"
"What?" we all asked.
"Peach Ciroc," she reached for her bag.
"I was wondering why you brought a back pack!" Darcie said.
"So are we going to have any or are we just going to sit here and talk about it?" Lina laughed.
"We should tell the guys to come over, too," Emily suggested.
In about a twenty minutes Gabe, Will, and Cole were here. David arrived in a half hour after picking up Dana and dropping Nikko off at Dana's parents' house. Dalton didn't want to come and cause a scene with Cole.
Gabe pulled some beer bottles out of his bag and set them on the table.
David passed one to Will and he shook his head, "I'm good."
I looked back at him and smiled, knowing he wasn't drinking on my account.
"You know just one shot would be fine," I told him. "I'm going to take one."
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yeah, you're not going to get drunk off of one shot," I laughed.
"Okay," he accepted the shot glass being handed to us and downed it. I did the same after it was refilled.
After everyone else had multiple rounds of shots, they were all giggly and were getting drunk.
"Oh my God guys I have a good idea!" Darcie almost fell off of the couch and we all laughed.
"I swear, if you say something that's going to make me think you're high again," Lina pointed at her.
"I'm not!" she defended.
"You're going to say we should play truth or dare again, aren't you?" Lina narrowed her eyes.
"No!" Darcie protested and then lowered her voice. "Maybe."
We all laughed.
"Oh my gosh, we haven't played that since that time at your house," Dana recalled.
