Cole's POV:

*Saturday, April 5, 2014, 5:55 p.m.*

"Five minutes!" someone called.

"Ready?" I asked the guys while we stood backstage. Everyone nodded nervously. "Come on, you guys! Relax! We've got great songs, originals and covers; Will, you have your keyboard and Dalton, your guitar; Dana, you, Lina, and Darce made us some kick ass choreo; Will, you got us with the harmonies; Gabe it was your idea to have us all wear camo; and now all that's left to do is perform. Come on, you guys. We're ready."

They were all silent for a second.

"The choreo is pretty good," Dana spoke, smiling.

"We do have our harmonies down pretty well," Will added.

"Will and I have the arrangements down," Dalton said.

"And, hey, we all look damn good in camo," Gabe told us and we all laughed. "But let's not leave you out, Cole. You've done a lot, too. Plus, we'd all be going crazy right now if it weren't for you."

I smiled at them and we all got into a small huddle. I said a quick prayer and, just as we broke apart, we heard, "Now, please welcome: IM5!"

This was it. This was happening.

We all walked onto the stage to be greeted by screaming fans. I could recognize some of them from their twitter accounts. There were only about thirty people watching us.

"Hey, guys!" I spoke into the microphone and the screaming died down a bit. "We're IM5."

The screaming picked back up.

I looked around the crowd and spotted Darce with Lina, Alex, Emily, and Nikki. I smiled at them, waving and hey waved back.

"The first song is going to be our first original that we all wrote together and we hope you guys enjoy!"

"Woah, ah, oh, ah, oh, oh

Woah, ah, oh, ah, oh, oh

Wish that I could break you open,

Wish that I could find a way inside

Maybe we could seize the moment,

Maybe it could happen here tonight"

The more songs we sang, the more people gathered around the stage to watch us. By the time we got to our forth song, Summer Love by Justin Timberlake, the crowd had doubled and by the time we got to our fifth song, Will's Story of My Life/Wake Me Up mashup, there had to have been at least eighty people watching us. When we finished our last song, Zero Gravity by us, there seemed to have been almost one hundred people surrounding the stage.

Throughout our whole performance, I slowly got less and less nervous. Rather than getting scared at the build of the amount of people, I found my confidence grow as the crowd grew. It was one of the most amazing feelings I had ever felt in my entire life.

"Thank you guys so much!" I spoke into the microphone.

"Y'all were great!" Dalton said to the crowd.

"Thank you!" we all thanked them before going offstage to the back.

"Bruh, that was so crazy!" Dana jumped on my back and we both laughed.

"I know!" I agreed.

"I can't believe we just did that, it was so sick!" Gabe said.

"It was seriously so much fun," Will added.

"We need to do this more often!" Dalton told us and we all laughed, agreeing.

"Oh my God!" I heard Nikki's voice.

"You guys were amazing!" Emily said.

The girls came us to us and greeted us all.

"That was so good! Like you don't even know!" Lina told us.

"Did you even see how many people were watching?" Alex asked.

"Seriously!" Lina added. "It's like I looked away for two seconds and then all of a sudden, there was this huge crowd of screaming girls!"

"I know!" Gabe said.

"Like, where did they all come from?" Will said while he put his arm around Nikki.

"Come on," I grabbed Darce's hand and gestured for everyone to follow me.

"Where are we going?" Alex asked while they all followed me.

"Hard Rock!" I answered as if it were obvious.

As soon as we stepped out of the backstage area, we heard screaming.

"Oh my God!" we heard.

"It's IM5!" we also heard.

"Can we get a picture with you guys?" some girls ran up to us.

"Uhm, sure!" I answered, taken off guard.

The girls moved to the side of us so that we could take pictures with some fans.

After about twenty minutes, we finished taking pictures with everyone that was there and talked to them for a little bit.

"We're going to go eat now you guys," Gabe told the girls.

"It was nice meeting you!" Will waved at them before we walked back towards the girls.

"Well that was new," Dalton said.

"That was sweet though!" Lina said back, hugging Dana by his waist while we started walking towards the Hard Rock Café again.
