Emilina's POV:

*Tuesday, December 16, 2014, 12:00 p.m.*

"And we are officially moved in," I closed the last, now empty box before I let myself fall back onto the couch.

Dana came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, leaning down and turning his head to plant a kiss on my right cheek.

He let go of me and came around the side of the couch to sit on my left.

My hands rubbed circles over my stomach, feeling Nicole moving around. Dana lifted up my shirt, stopping just below my chest. He placed one hand on my stomach and the other around my shoulder.

He looked at me and smiled as we both felt her kick. Dana leaned down, pressing his lips to my baby bump.

"Hi, baby girl," his warm breath tickled my skin. "Four more months until we get to see your beautiful face."

I couldn't help but smile as I watched him talk to our daughter. He did this every day.

"Everybody needs inspiration

everybody needs a song

a beautiful melody

when the night's so long," Dana started to softly sing.

As I listened to his soothing voice, I looked around our new apartment.

Dana and I found it in the beginning of the month and we hadn't started moving until last week. We finally finished unpacking everything and I was ready to just relax.

My Lolo and Lola were able to help me get the rest of my clothes and other necessities from my ho-... my parents' house.

Dana and I put my bed in our room since my bed was bigger than the one he had at his house. Dana and I were going to try and find some new furniture by ourselves, but his parents and my grandparents insisted on paying for our new furniture since we bought all of Nicole's things and since we were having to pay for the apartment.

As for school, I left mine. I couldn't handle being near the people there and everyone was treating me like shit ever since I got pregnant. What did I expect though?

Anyways, I started taking my classes online and I was already more than halfway done with my junior year.

My job? I quit at Starbucks because, apparently, restaurants love a good sob story and couldn't turn down a pregnant girl who needed a job. So four days a week I worked as a waitress at a Mel's Diner.

"But there is no guarantee

that this life is easy

Yeah when my world is falling apart

and there's no light to break up the dark

that's when I, I, when I look at you

When the waves are flooding the shore

and I can't find my way home anymore

that's when I, I, when I look at you

when I look at you."
