Jimmy's POV
A f&cking ouija board. F&ck..... this party was just getting so good.
"I seriously didn't expect you to have one of these?" I said to Matt.
"Well, I found it in the garage a few weeks back. No idea who owns it but it's part of the reason why I set this area up tonight." Matt responded looking at each of us. "Who's in?"
"Well we all said yes to a group dare, but I don't like bringing up the dead. Just wanna put that out there." Hunter looked a little freaked.
"Remember guys what we said earlier, what happens here tonight stays with us and can't be shared?" I opened the board and placed it in the centre of our group. "Has anyone ever played before?"
Hunter and Abby nodded.
"Were you together at the time?" I asked.
"Yes, it was Halle's 15th birthday and we had a sleep over at her place, there was about 10 of us. I don't know if it worked or if someone was having us on." Hunter explained. "It didn't feel like it was legit. Nothing came of it we just asked who had a crush on each of us and other silly school girl stuff. Now that I look back on it there was no mention of anything spiritual. We probably didn't do it right to cause any harm."
"I had a go once but it was to find someone specific. I was playing with Dean, Tom and Karl we were trying to talk to Deans eldest brother who had died a few years back." Tyler looked a little uncomfortable. "We weren't able to find Ethan but we came across another spirit who told us some information."
"Woah, that's kinda freaky." Sam piped in. "Did anything come of it?"
Tyler shrugged his shoulders. "See his death was complicated so we were trying to help Dean and his family get some answers." Tyler went on to explain further. "But in the end we had no proof so how could we go to the police and say listen, Ethan's death wasn't suicide it was a murder."
Everyone looked a little shocked. "So it did work?" I asked Tyler.
"The spirit gave details only Dean knew about Ethan. It also told us names of people that Dean needed to wipe from his life."
"Wow, he mentioned his brother tonight." Hunter looked directly at Tyler. "He didn't want to talk about his death it must be still so hard for him."
"Yeah, it nearly ruined his family. They blamed his death on suicide. But in actual fact Ethan was working for his best friends Dad who we discovered was a drug dealer. Ethan had been selling pot and pills to kids at our school since he was 15.
So there was this party on the beach a few years back and it was for locals but another supplier turned up. There was a stabbing and everyone reckons Ethan did it to protect the area. Well those kids ran off but they weren't done. Apparently there was another party and Ethan was loured into a bedroom using some hot chick and then they injected drugs into Ethan and he OD'ed. Apparently they made it look like a suicide. His body wasn't found until the next morning when they were cleaning up."
F&ck that's really heavy.
"Do you know who did it?" I wanted to know who these guys were.
"No, it's hard using a board it doesn't always make exact sense you kinda have to put it together."
I nodded at Tyler.
"Ok, so you guys ready to try this?"
Everyone began to place their hands on the pointer.
"I've done a bit of research so I sorted know what to do." Matt confirmed. "One thing to remember, don't take your hands off the pointer if someone comes through cause we'll lose the connection and we have to say goodbye properly." Matt looked around at each of us.
"We ready?" He gave us his signature smirk.
