Hunter's POV
It was now close to 4am, the past hour had come and gone like a blur. I was currently snuggling into Dean as we laid on top of the blanket down on the sand. He was stroking my hair whilst Tyler softly played guitar and sang our fav songs. There was finally a small break.
"Please Tyler, play Trees." It was my one of most absolute my favourite songs.
He nodded my way and began strumming and singing the words.
Dean looked into my eyes. "This song means a lot to you doesn't it. You've got goosebumps all over your body." He gently whispered as his fingers stroked my arms hoping to warm me up.
A tear slipped down my face. "I just think it's such a beautiful song."
He grabbed my chin gently. "Hey, there's no need to cry, I hate to see you so sad."
"I'm actually feeling really happy right now." I giggled.
"Your just so, so beautiful." He lowered his lips onto mine. It was as though time had stopped. I forgot we were on a beach amongst friends, it just felt like only we existed in that moment. I knew Dean was the right decision. I finally felt at peace.
As the moment got heated, there was a tug on my skirt as I pulled Dean away. I felt a little heavy in the chest then I heard the words, "he needs your purity and love."
"What's wrong?" Dean was looking at me as I was searching the sand around me for answers.
"I think your brother is talking to me again." There was no other explanation.
"Seriously? What did he say?" He looked excitedly at me.
"He told me we will be great together." A massive smile appeared on his face.
"Oh, I already know that." He gently kissed my forehead. "So, have you always been able to speak to the dead?"
I nodded my head. "Pretty much. At first my Mum thought I had imaginary friends when I was little. But I always found people to talk to and I found it strange how no one else could see them. Then I thought maybe there were magical people. As I got older my Grandmother told me about certain psychic gifts that existed down her mothers family lines. But since my mother didn't possess any psychic skills she didn't think I would. A few times it's been a little scary where I get woken up or someone won't leave me alone but I've learnt to control them. Right now, I feel that your brother is at peace and he can finally come to rest. He's no longer walking between our worlds he can cross. I can help him do that Dean."
He looked at me and nodded. "I'd appreciate your help, you're amazing."
Tyler was finishing up another song when Dean yelled out. "Tyler can you play my Brothers fav song Cancer? It'd be nice to hear it again, it's been a while."
Tyler sang the song and we just held onto each other, just listening to the heaviness of the words. It felt like Dean was also able to move on from what had happened to his brother finally having his own closure.
Whilst we were finding closure we were also making new beginnings together.
