Who's In?

Jimmy's POV

I couldn't believe what Sam had just said. She seriously thought highly enough of me that she'd be willing to take me to meet her parents. This was awesome. I never thought someone like Sam would ever give me the time of day.

Tyler was on the phone to Dean. At that moment I made my way over to Sam, grabbed her hand and walked her away from the others. I then pulled her in close against my chest and began kissing her passionately.

I could feel her smile into the kiss, but that only made me want to kiss her even harder.

"Jimmy, if you don't stop I'm going to regret tonight." My heart sank and my face changed to hurt. "No, no, not like that. I mean you're going to make me want to go farther than I really should."

"F&ck, you scared me. I just thought you must have put that whole speech on for the others benefit."

"No way. I think we have enough spark between us to see where this goes. And you're right, it won't be easy, because we'd be considered almost the odd couple. The last two people who'd ever get together, so we're going to cop it at school and maybe at home, but I don't care."

I was just staring at Sam in total aw. She was so f&cking cool, how did I miss out on seeing this side to her for so many years.

"Let's not put a name to us, we are together and that's what it is." She continued. "When you've met the folks you may decide I'm not for you so let's play this out."

I nodded. How could that be the case. But she was leaving it open for us to decide?

"Guys, come over when you're ready." Matt yelled out across the beach.

We made our way back to the others.

"Ok, so Dean found the money. He text them back and said he's ready to meet up tonight. They text back immediately saying to meet on the beach. Dean playing it safe explained to go to pinnys which was smart because he could so use the back up. The plan is, we'll just ignore them whilst it's going down. They'll be meeting at the top of the beach and if anything happens Dean will let me know and we're all here to help."

"What time is this going down?" I asked Tyler.

"3am. So in about 20 minutes."

"Guys, I have a knife in my car, should I grab it just in case?" I had it there just in case I ever needed it and now may just be the right time.

"No!" Natalia yelled out. "Please Jimmy, lets not worry about it. Ethan said things would be ok."

I just nodded. Everyone else was in agreement. So it was now a waiting game. In less than 20 minutes shit was going to go down.
