Triggers? : slightly sexual content I guess. Point of view changes.

Gerard shuffled around behind me, causing me to wake up. "Are you awake?", I whispered. It was dark. "Oh, did I wake you up?", his hoarse voice asked. "Mmm." "I don't know why I woke up." "Hm." "I'm wide awake though." "Do you want to go outside?", I asked him. "Yeah", he muttered and sat up, lifting the sheets away from us. The cold air hit my bare legs. I sat up, crawled over to the entrance and tried to find the zipper. The material was soft, almost like silk. I found the zipper and unzipped the tent, "come on." Gerard crawled over to me. "Oops", he mumbled. "What happened?" "I think I stepped on Frank's leg", he giggled and followed me outside.

another point of view

I felt something heavy on my leg. I tried to move, but I couldn't. What if it was a monster? Sitting on my fucking leg? I heard whispering from the entrance to the tent. "I think I stepped on Frank's leg", a well known voice giggled. Gerard. Who was he talking to? Probably Tess. But what were they doing? Maybe they were going outside. But why now?

I poked Ray in his face.

He turned around, waving his hand around annoyingly. He probably thought my finger was a fly.

So I poked him again.

He grunted sleepily.

"Ray", I whispered. My voice sounded different. All raspy. "What now?", he asked and yawned. "What's the time?" "I don't fucking know", he answered and pulled the sleeping bag over his head. I sighed. "Ray, I need to know." "It's 2:38am", Mikey suddenly answered. I looked at him. His face was lit up by his flip phone. I thought about it. "They must've gone out to do it again. Second round", I giggled. "Do what?", Mikey asked as he typed something on his phone. "Your brother and Tess went out in the forest to have sex at 2am." Mikey turned around quickly, hiding his face in the pillow. "I really don't want to hear about that, Frank", he muttered into the pillow. I laughed at him. I wonder how he felt. "Ray?", Mikey said. Ray grunted. "Why do you think they went outside?", Mikey asked. "Maybe they're having a late night walk, I dunno." There was a weird squeal coming from the outside. "Wonder if that was Gerard, Tess or a bear?", Ray asked and giggled. "If it was Tess.. They're definitely having sex." "Can we just sleep now?", Mikey asked. "Yeah", Ray answered and turned around again, facing me.

Oh.

It's time.

I held Gerard's hand. It was warm, a contrast to the cold summer night. The moon lit the area up. I looked down at my naked feet. "Should I take shoes on?", I asked Gerard. "Nah", he answered and showed me his bare feet. He smiled to me and I giggled. His face was so perfect, so pretty in the moonlight. He was so perfect in general. "Should we go down to the lake?", Gerard asked me. I nodded and dragged him along.

Our feet became dirty and every other second one of us screamed because we stepped on a small stone. But we laughed at each other. And hearing Gerard's laugh made me forget the pain in my feet. It made me forget all my pain and problems.

We stood and looked at the lake. You could see the moon's reflection in the water. The pitch black trees surrounded the calm waters and the lonely wooden pier. I looked at Gerard. His face was blank, relaxed, and thoughtful. His black hair reminded me of the dark forest, his pale face was the lake and his eyes the shining bright moon. He turned his head around, looking at me. He smiled slightly.

He always smiles when he looks at me. Even if he doesn't smile, it's like something lights up in his eyes.

I wonder if the same thing happens to my eyes.
