Chapter twenty (Adelia)

"Quickly now." Rumplestiltskin orders. We hop out of our boats, and I am grabbed by Tinkerbell.

"Don't even think about escaping." she hisses, and shows me a knife. I let out a scream, but it goes nowhere, all because of the rag in my mouth. Tinkerbell hides the knife the second everyone looks over at me.

"Take out your weapons." Charming advises, unsheathing his sword. The others follow his example.

I'm still being grabbed my Tinkerbell, and she pushes me in front of her. After climbing many steps, we reach the top, a huge area with a giant hourglass. The hourglass is filled with a golden glitter, and it's time is almost up. Gold skulls decorate the bottom, and Peter stands, looking at it with a smirk.

He turns to me, and anger burns in his eyes when he notices I'm tied up. Tinkerbell, obviously wanting to infuriate him, shoves me to the ground. I release a muffled squeal, hitting the rocky ground hard. I look at him, with an expression that pleads for help. He looks at Tinkerbell with an endless rage.

Thats when I see Henry, standing behind Peter, with a face filled with confusion.

"Henry, Neverland is dying." Peter urges, "Be the hero you where destined to be!"

"No, Henry!" Emma yells. "Henry, we're here. We'll take you home." she adds. She tries to run to him but is blown back by a forcefeild of some kind.

"Henry, it's a trick." Peter says, frantically trying to persuade Henry. "They want to sabotage your heroism. Just look at what they've done to Adelia!"

Henry looks at me, horrified at what he sees.

"Henry, just listen..." Regina pleads.

"I'm sorry, Mom. I have to be a hero." He says, cringing as he pulls his heart out of his body. Its a glimmering golden color.

I begin to cry, sobbing quietly on the ground. This is so wrong, and and so evil, it overwhelms me. I thought Peter was just misunderstood, not evil. I was wrong.

I was incredibly wrong.

In a flash, Henry sticks the heart in Peter's chest, and I shriek as Henry's body drops to the ground.

Peter rises into the air, swoops down to pick me up, and carries me off into the sky.
