God's Blessings

God blesses those who are faithful to Him.  He favors them and keeps them.  One must always trust in this promise even when sometimes it feels like it's never going to come.  It will.  In His glorious time.  Even when you feel like God has forgotten about you because of the suffering that you are going through, believe that He will deliver you sooner or later.  Trust His plans for You.  For in His time, He will bless not only you, but those who you hold dear.  His love endures more than your lifetime and His favor is everlasting.

At times you may envy what others have.  But have you ever thought what they do with the riches God has given them?  Do they use it to care for others or do they lavish themselves in their selfishness and vanity?  Do they give back to God?  God is telling us that if we are to truly follow Him, we must give up what we have and be his disciple.  Sell our properties and share to those who need it most.

"The poor will always be with you."  As what our Lord told us.  For many people, the status of one's life is just that.  A status that one must always try to diligently change.  But very few realize that we will always have the poor so that the rich may feel compassion and the rich exists so that the poor may know kindness and these two, compassion and kindness are beautiful things.  But if we are in darkness, we fail to see this.

Truly it is easier for a camel to pass through the hole of the needle than for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.  They may be blessed now, but if they fail to serve God, the blessings will run out like a jar full of water but with a whole at the bottom.  But if you give back to the Lord, it will be like drinking from a living well.  You might run out, but you can always draw water again.  Wait patiently for the Lord's blessings.  It might take some time, but His promises will never fade.  And the best blessing of it all, is living life eternal in Him.  What could be more precious than this?
