An Opportunity To Love More

And I give the glory to Him for the gifts of the Spirit that the Lord has graced with. But above all, LOVE should be our foundation which is Christ Himself. For even when we have the all the gifts and we don't have love, everything is of no value.

When we love, we try to counsel, encourage, build up, give strength, and bring a person closer to God. And so the purpose of the gifts of the Spirit are those so the glory of God would manifest in you and turn them to believe. Because you care. Because you love. Otherwise, all the gifts that you have will amount to nothing without love for others. God then will hold us accountable for the gifts that He has entrusted us.

Use the gifts brothers and sisters. Desire all of it. So you can show more love to others by bringing the salvation to them with the help of the grace of God that He has given you. Do not keep the gifts to yourself. A gift is not a gift until it is given away. Because only when sharing these gifts to others LOVE can truly manifest. Have BIG LOVE.

To have bigger love is to desire MORE of His Spirit so you can share more for when you possess the gifts of the Holy Spirit it is an opportunity to love more.

1 Corinthians 14:1-5

Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. 2 For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit. 3 On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation. 4 The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who prophesies builds up the church. 5 Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be built up.
