DON'T JUST SERVE GOD, LOVE GOD

When we serve the Lord it will always requires all our devotion. Every service needs preparation and most of the time it could be exhausting physically, mentally, emotionally, financially sometimes even spiritually.

There are others who have it easy. Many people are happy to just attend the Sunday worship service and that's it. For as long as they perform their personal duties to themselves and their families, raise their children in a Christian way, it is good.

We all want to serve God. But how? God will bring us different people to work with, but each individual is different from the other. Each one has different life experiences. Each one has experienced how God is in their life one way or the other but never the same. And so, we have our own level of belief, of understanding, of reason on why we serve God.

God is a Master Planner.

There is a reason for everything. There is a reason why we get involved with different kinds of people. There is never an accident or coincidence in ones' life if you truly believe that the Lord our God is a master planner.

And so the questions were raised... Some of these where questions I also asked myself a long time ago, but I didn't know how to answer so I just set them aside. But these days, a person was used for me to face these questions.

The Lord definitely has a reason why we hear what we hear and allowed us to learn spiritual things that others consider as foolishness. What are these things revealed to only a few of us and not to everyone? What has been revealed to us in the spirit as we go back to Him is beyond the reasons of human intellect.

Even with those who are already faithful, it is still beyond understanding. Because these are the things of the Spirit. The reason is not because they lack faith not they do not know the Lord, but simply because it is not their farms to till. it is not their task to do.

This only means that this is the farm I must till. The farm we must till.

There are times that we are torn setting our priorities to our families, friends, loved ones, partners. Can we be sure to do this our entire lives? Can we just choose and leave and live like everyone else does?

But why do we do what we do? Why do we serve and give so much of ourselves?

Do we serve God with fear? We know how the Lord punished people who disobey. It is so scary that it could send our knees to crumble at the thought of it all. Fear, however, has its limits and eventually, one is always possible of freeing himself from it.

Do we serve God because of admiration? He is so smart, a craftsman, a master planner and master in the art of war and of reason. The universe and everything in it and the history on humans in itself, how we have evolved, how science and human understanding fall short in explaining everything in its entirety but every little thing has an answer in God. For nothing is impossible in Him. But can this go a long way? Is this enough reason for us to offer mour entire lives to him?

Do we serve Him because we are grateful? Yes, everything was created for humans, the universe, the earth, animals, everything you see, hear, and feel. You will really bow down to Him in gratefulness.

We were sinners, he could have saved us in an instant but instead he sent a child as the song "Seasons" goes. We are thankful to God for giving us free will. For not forcing us to worship Him but by free will and even giving His son as a testament of how dear we are to Him, and how unselfish He is and how greedy we could be.
