I long to explain to you the joy of entering the rest of the Lord. But how do I even begin to describe a joy indescribable?
The journey towards the Kingdom of God is a narrow road and requires transformation. The transformation may not always be a smooth process. The pruning could be painful but it will always be humbling.
Be keen in keeping God's commandments and do not be slow in keeping your vows to Him. Obedience is better than sacrifice yet humble yourself and fear the Lord that you may gain wisdom. Live in obedience to God and His will for your life.
Do not despise God's discipline. Do not despise pruning. Instead, be happy, for when we are pruned, we are about to bear more fruit.
Persevere to be transformed rather to perform. For it is only in our complete transformation that we will be able to perform more effectively.
Build your life in fear and love of God. Love God. Love your neighbors. Starting with those who are with you in faith. For if we cannot love those who are around us, how can we love God whom we cannot see and how can we love those who we barely see and are far from us?
And along with the transformation and renewal of our minds, we are being changed into someone that God would be pleased. And when He is finally pleased, we enter His rest.
And when you begin to enter the rest of the Lord, your heart will not contain the joy that comes from Him. There is peace, there is security, . There is no need to worry because there is hope in every difficulty.
Be blessed. Have God's rest.
