"She may not be 17 anymore or have come forward with the relationship herself but it's our obligation to investigate." Detective clay went on.
"What?" I said shocked, "that's not true."
"The person who left the tip backed it up with dated photos of the two of you together." He pressed on.
"That's impossible because we weren't together then." I insisted. In reply he opened a folder that had been sitting next to him before and slid a photo of me kissing Evan in the woods at my party a few years ago across the table .
"Still say you weren't together?" He asked.
"We weren't." I said again, growing angry.
"So then was this you trying to pursue her or force yourself on her?" He asked.
"I would never force myself on anyone sir." I said angrily through my teeth. "Nothing happened here, does it look like we're having sex?"
"We don't having photos showing what this event and what the other photos escalated to." He said.
"Because there was nothing to show! If someone was taking photos of us with intentions to get me in trouble don't you think they would have kept taking photos if it had escalated any further? There was no sex involved." I concluded sternly.
"So you never slept with her or forced yourself on her when she was under the age of 18?" He asked.
"If I had forced myself on her do you really think she would have married me?" I asked. He sighed,
"Is there anyone that can back up the statements you made today?"
"All my bandmates, including the guy I came in with." I said. He nodded.
"You're free to go for now but I need to talk to them."

"Hey mom." I greeted quietly, sitting on the grass that had now grown over the ground in front of her head stone. "I brought you flowers even though you used to find them silly but it's the though that counts right?" I asked, setting them against the stone.
"Dads back, but I guess you already knew that considering what's happened and the police don't seem to care. I don't think they've really done anything to find him." I sighed. "But at least I have my friends, and my husband, we finally got married. I still don't know if you like him but I'd like to think you would." I said. It was weird talking to nothing and I wasn't really sure what to say on top of that so I just stayed there and watched the wind whip through the trees. It was such a nice, sunny day out, she would have loved it.
I sat there for probably a good hour and maybe even more just being there with her. I talked a couple more times but it never lasted long and eventually I finally arose again and went home.
"Ang I'm home." I announced walking through the front door. She emerged through the kitchen door smiling.
"Hey! How'd it go?"
"Um, well I guess." Unable to come up with a sarcastic remark in time. She had made lunch so we both made plates and sat down to eat.
"Have you heard from the boys? I called them to ask them something but no one answered." She asked, I shrugged.
"No but when they're working they get into the zone so they probably didn't notice." I reasoned, she nodded in agreement.
"I'm still kinda worried about this morning, they don't usually leave like that." She mumbled more to herself than me.
