The last couple of days following our questioning with the police were largely uneventful. There had been talk of moving since seeing the photos but nothing was finalized yet and soon we were back to life as usual for most of us, Angel and I weren't feeling fine like the others though, we weren't sure how to feel and to make matters worse it looked like the guys were about to go on tour.
Trying to get away from thinking about everything and yearning for some normalcy, Angel and I decided to go walk around the mall and shop around a little. We had been to hot topic and a couple music stores already and were now walking around a wedding registry store, scoping out stuff for Angel and Alan.
"So I was thinking of a beach wedding in Florida..." Angel said, picking up and looking at a set of plates. "I know it'll be hard getting some of our friends from here to there but I miss Florida and it would be amazing to get to share this with my family and friends down there." She went on. "Plus it would be beautiful beach weddings are so sweet... Evan? Are you listening?" She asked. I jumped suddenly realizing I had been staring off at the same plate for 5 minutes now and not even listening to her.
"Oh, sorry." I smiled sheepishly. "You were saying?"
"This day was to get us away from thinking about everything Evan." She pouted.
"I'll only be able to stop thinking about it when I'm dead..." I muttered.
"Lovely! ..." She said enthusiastically sarcastic, rolling her eyes.
"Sorry but you know I can't not think about it." I said.
"I'm sending you to a spa soon, you need it, I do too." She sighed.
"You can't say that you aren't worried about what'll happen next. I bet who ever tipped off the police isn't done yet and for all we know it was just another play from my dad." I said, she nodded.
"Yes but you can't do anything about it, all you can do is roll with the punches so don't drive yourself crazy over this too, it's bad enough already." She said.
"Yeah, whatever." I muttered, shoving my hands in my pockets as we walked out. We walked down to the food court and ordered some Starbucks before sitting down to drink and eat what we had gotten from the bakery.
"What do you think about the guys leaving right now?" I asked. She looked worried and thoughtful for a moment before replying.
"I feel the same as I always do.. It sucks." She sighed. "We feel safer with them being here but in reality they can't do anything about it either, this situation is gonna be the same whether they're on tour or at home." She reasoned, I nodded.
"I guess you're right..." I sighed. "But can we just agree to go somewhere or do something while they're gone? I will drive myself crazy staying where we are now without having them around."
"Yeah, that'll be good, we should totally do that." She agreed happily. "I want to take you to Florida sometime too, you'd love it."
"I could use some beach days.." I said trailing off with a smile. "After they leave and it gets closer to their Florida date we can go down and meet up with them for a day and make a trip out of it."
"That's sounds awesome!" She grinned, getting up and setting our plates on the counter.
We started to walk out, heading for our cars that were parked right next to each other. She had to go to work in about an hour so we decided to drive separate so I could go home.
"Bye love!" She smiled, pulling me into a hug.
"Bye Angel." I smiled letting her go and sliding into my car.
