All That Matters

Chapter 2

-Next Morning-

My alarm rung and I quickly got up. I took a shower and got changed. When I was done I ran to my parents room and woke my mom up. After 20 minutes we were walking to Justin's grandparents' house. When we arrived my I knocked on the door and Justin opened it. "Hey Ms. Santana, Jaiden." "Hey Justin may we come in?" my mom said "Yea sure." he said opening the door. My mom walked in and I stood at the door with Justin. "Are you going to come in Jai?" he said I smiled and walked in. "Come on lets go up to my room while we wait for Chaz and Ryan." he said We ran up the stairs, and sat down on his bed. "Hey remember that time you took a frog to class and it got lost." I said laughing. "Oh yea we never found it poor spot got lost in the first day." Justin said Suddenly the door swung open, Chaz and Ryan came in and flopped on the bed. "What's up guys." Ryan said "Just talking about the time Justin took spots into class." "Oh I remember that!" Chaz said laughing. We continued laughing and talking about all the great memories we had. "Alright guys we're leaving in 10 minutes." Justin's mom said opening the door. "Well dude we better go, but we'll miss you and don't forget to call us every day." Ryan said "I won't you knuckle heads." he said hugging both of them. "See you later Jaiden." they said I waved good bye and sat back down on the bed. "Justin I have something to give you." I said. "Close your eyes. He closed his eyes and I took out a dog tag and a key. The dog tag was cut so my key would fit in. In it, it said bestfriend and it had a picture of both of us and on the key it said my name and his. I put it around his neck and he opened his eyes. "Wow Jaiden this is awesome." he said "And I have this for me." I said putting the key necklace around me. I grabbed his tag and my key and put them together. "See." I said "wow thanks Jai you're the best. I promise i will never take it off." he said hugging me. "And I promise to never take mine off." I smiled "Justin time to go." his mom yelled from downstairs. "Come on." I said grabbing his hand. We walked downstairs and his family were outside waiting for him. "Before I go can I do something?" he asked I nodded. "Close your eyes." I closed my eyes and waited. Suddenly his lips touched mine. "Justin" his mom called out again. He pulled away and I opened my eyes. He was smiling from cheek to cheek. I pecked his lips one last time before we walked outside. "You ready to go?" his mom asked "Yup ready as I'll ever be." he said I hugged Pattie goodbye then Justin. "Bye Jaiden I love you." he whispered only for me to hear. "I love you to." I whispered. "Don't forget to call!" my mom told Pattie. My mom and Pattie were bestfriends since they were little.  So It was hard on my mom as well seeing her bestfriend go as well. "Bye we'll miss you." Justin's grandpa said. I could see he was about to cry so I went to his side and hugged him. "It's okay they'll be back." I said. He smiled and waved good bye. They got into the taxi and as soon as we knew it they were gone.

-7 years later-

So much has changed in the past 7 years. I'm now 18 going on 19 My dad left after we lost everything. We went bankrupt because my parents gave all their savings to this record company that wanted to sign me but ended being fake. So we now live in a crappy apartment. My mom got into drugs and alcohol after my dad left. She's usually just locks herself in the room and never comes out. So now my brother and I pay all the bills and we both work two jobs.  After three months Justin was gone he stopped calling and he wouldn’t answer. So I don’t talk to him he still talks to Ryan and Chaz but they tell me he never asks about me. Today was Ryan's 19th birthday and he was having a birthday party at his house. "Drew I might stay over at Ryan's and Chaz's don’t wait up." I said grabbing my jacket. "Alright have fun he yelled." I walked out the door and headed towards Ryan and Chaz's house. They moved in together about 3 months ago their parents let them move in together as long as they paid their own bills and were responsible. I was across the street and I could hear the music and everything. I opened the door and there was a bunch of people. I looked around for Chaz and Ryan. I spotted them at the bar. "Hey guys." I said "Hey Jai." they said "Happy Birthday Ryan!" I said wrapping my hands around his neck and hugging him. "Thanks." he said smiling. "Hey guys." My bestfriend Lexi said. "Hey Lex." Chaz said. Chaz had a crush on her since high school and she had a crush on him but they were both too shy to admit it. "Let's have some fun tonight!" Ryan said. He handed us some drinks and we walked to the dance floor. We danced all night. I suddenly had the urge to go to the restroom. "I'll be right back." I said I walked to the restroom but someone bumped into me and spilled my drink all over me. "Ugh Watch were you're going you jerk." I said. The guy looked up from his phone. He had sun glasses on. "Wow no wonder you can't see you're wearing sunglasses and looking at your phone." I said "I'm sorry." "Sorry isn't going to clean my shirt is it." I said "Whoa no need to be mad about it." he said. "Well you're going to have to clean my shirt." I said "I will." "Follow me." I said I walked upstairs and walked into Chaz's room. "Are you allowed to be up here?" he asked "It's my bestfriends room of course I am." I said I looked for a shirt I could wear. I found a Justin Bieber t-shirt which was the only one that would fit me. "Hold this." I said handing him the shirt. I removed my shirt and threw at his face. I grabbed the t-shirt and put it on. "Stare much?" I said "Do you usually get naked in front of random guys like that." "No but I feel like I know you." I said  "Are you a big fan of Justin Bieber?" he asked "He's alright but he has a way of disappointing people." I said "What about you?" I said "He's okay but like Do you know him?." he asked "No why?" "I mean you talk about him like you know him." "Well I don’t so can we talk about something else." I said getting mad "I like your necklace." he said pointing at the key that connected Justin's tag to my key. "Thanks." I said "We better go Jaiden." he said taking my hand. We were about to leave when I pulled away. "Wait how do you know my name?" I said "You told me." "No I didn’t." He got close to me and was reaching for my necklace "Hey get away from me." I said pushing him away "Jaiden just wait." he said calmly. He grabbed my key and connected it to a dog tag. I looked up at him and removed his glasses. "Justin?" I said shocked
