I woke up the next morning and Justin was gone. I didn’t feel like getting up and having to look for him. All I wanted to do was stay in this bed and cry. The door opened and Justin walked in. "Good Morning baby." he said smiling. "Hey." I said turning back around to face the wall. "What's wrong?" he asked sitting down next to me. "Nothing, I just feel so lost." I said honestly. "It's okay to feel lost you just lost your mom." "I know I just feel so alone." "Jaiden you're not alone you have me, my family, and our friends." "Drew, I need Drew." I said starting to tear up. "Baby I don't think that's a great idea." "Justin he's the only one that knows what I'm going through."

"He needs some time to cool down, and you’re not emotionally stable to see him right now." I know he was right but I needed Drew right by my side to know everything would be alright. "Here I'll go get you some breakfast you stay here and watch some TV." he told me. "No Justin don't bother I'm not hungry." I said stopping him "Jaiden you have to eat something." "No Justin I'm not in the mood to eat, can you just lay down with me and hold me." I said looking at him. He flashed me a sweet smiled and did as exactly as I asked. "Thank you for being here." I said "I told you I was never leaving, and I'm keeping my word." he said I buried my face into his neck and I embraced his presence.

-Justin's POV-

I heard Jaiden's faintly snores and I knew she was sound asleep once again. I didn’t know how she felt but I could imagine. I knew she needed Drew but I didn’t want him near her right now. I slowly pulled her away from her and I put on a clean shirt and jeans. "Mom I'll be back, watch over Jaiden will you." I said leaving out the door. It was the middle of November so it was snowing hard. I quickly ran to where I was going and I knocked on the door. "Justin what are you doing here?" Drew said opening the door. "You have to come talk to Jaiden." I said "No way, I'm not going to do that." he said "Dude you need her and she needs you." "She's the reason we're in this mess.

"Honestly, I wasn’t here for 7 years but I know Jaiden very well, all she has ever done is think about and you your mom. Jaiden's career didn’t cause this. She has worked her ass off to get to where she is and provide the best for you and your mom. Drew your mom had an awful condition. You can't blame Jaiden nor yourself. Janice is in a better place watching over both of you. You might not want to talk to Jaiden but just know she's hurting and she needs you so go see her bro." I said and walked away. I seriously wanted to punch Drew but I couldn’t for Jaiden.

I walked inside my grandparents' house and sat in the kitchen with my family. "How is she?" My mom asked "She's hanging in there, she just needs Drew right now but he won't talk to her. He's blaming her for their mother's death." "He's just in shock he'll come around soon. " my mom told me. She set a plate of food in front of me. I grabbed the fork about to dig in but my mom slapped my hand "Uh Ow!" I said looking at her. "You already ate, that's for Jaiden." she said. "Mom she won't eat." I explained "Let me go talk to her." she said "Fine just try not to make her cry." I said

-Jaiden's POV-

I had woken up from my nap or sleep whatever you want to call it and Justin was gone again. I turned on the TV and I tried to get things off my mind. There was a light knock on the door and I knew it wasn’t Justin since he would of just walked in. "Come in." I softly said. Pattie walked in with a tray in her hands. "Pattie thank you but I'm not hungry." I said sitting up. "Jaiden I'm not going to make you eat, but I am going to talk to you." she said sweetly. She sat next to me and held my hands.

"I know what you're going through, I'm going through the same thing. You lost your mom and I lost my bestfriend. I'm telling you the truth it doesn’t get easier any time soon, but I will tell you this your mom will always be here with you whether you know it or not and you know she wants you to be healthy and happy. I'm  not telling you to put a smile on your face, cry all you want but you have to eat and talk to people." she said with tears in her eyes.
