All That Matters

Chapter 24

"No we can't afford this." she said "Mom calm down it's paid for already." "How?" "Well mom when you were in rehab I got signed to a record label and well I'm sort of famous." I said. "Sort of? Everyone is talking about you." Drew said "Honey I'm so proud of you." she said hugging me and crying. "To show how happy we are of you as well, How about we invite Pattie, Justin's grandparents, Lexi, Ryan, and Chaz over for dinner. "Sounds like fun." I said "Okay what should I cook?" She asked. "Oh no mom I have everything taken care of. How about you go explore your new house while I get everything ready." I said taking her out of the kitchen. She walked away and started touching things. I walked back to the kitchen and started looking up recipes.

 I had never really cook anything before but I was going to try to cook something. I heard the doorbell ring and I ran to answer it. I opened the door and Lexi was standing there. "Oh how I'm glad you're here." I said hugging her. "Why? Oh and it's great to see you to best friend" she said giggling "Oh sorry. I missed you and I'm cooking tonight." I said closing the door. "What! Santana you know you can't cook." She said walking towards the  kitchen. "I know but I don't want my mom to worry about it." "Well I kind of know how to cook so let's get started." she said.  I grabbed the ingredients to make lasagna. We started to cook everything  like the recipe said. After about an hour we finished cooking and we put the lasagna in the oven. We took a seat in the dining room while we waited for the food to be ready.

 "So tell me how's Harry." "We broke up?" "Omg why." "Because he was dating another girl since I didn’t let him get into my pants."  "So?" she asked for me to continue "So I punched him in the face." "You didn't" "But I did." I said laughing. "So what, now you and Justin are back on again?" she asked "It's not like that, I want to give myself time, but yet again I don’t want to be apart from him." "Well then what are you waiting for? Go talk to him." "I can't just go up to him and tell him. Oh hey Justin I want to be with you 24 hours 7 days a week. That's weird." "I didn’t mean it like that, I meant tell him how you feel." "Ugh I will after dinner." I said getting up. We got ready for dinner. I took a shower and changed into a  Prepster V-Neck sweater that showed my stomach, High waisted Skinny Jeans, and platform boots.

"Are you ready?" Lexi asked coming in. "Woah it's just dinner no need for the heel boots." she pointed out She was right. I took off my heel boots and changed into converse. "There I'm ready." I said getting up. I'm guessing the guys arrived when I was showering because they were yelling like crazy when I walked out of my new room. Lexi and I walked to the living room where Justin, Drew, Ryan and Chaz were playing who knows what on Xbox. "You guys need to quiet down." I said but they ignored me and continued what they were doing. The doorbell rang and I walked to answer it.

 Pattie and her parents stood at the door. "Come on in." I motioned opening the door. They walked in and walked towards the living room. "How about you guys wait in the dining room while I get everyone?" I said. They agreed and walked to the dining room. I walked back to the living room and stood in front of the T.V. "Jaiden move!" Ryan yelled. "No you guys have to go to the dining room, Justin's family is here." I said turning off the game system. They all whined and walked to the dining room. My mom was already in the dining room when I arrived. Lexi helped me carry out all the food we cooked out to the dining room. We set it on the tables and took our own seats.

Everyone served what they wanted and we all ate. After dinner, Justin's grandparents left and Pattie stayed to catch up with my mom and once again the guys went off to play their video games. "I'll see you later." Lexi told me. She had to go since she had to baby sit her sister. Now I was left alone to clean up after everyone. I picked up the dirty dishes and set them in the dish washer. After I was done cleaning the kitchen I went upstairs to my room and get a minute to breath from everything. I heard a knock on my door but I didn’t bother to answer since I knew if it was one of the guys they would just come in. And I was right the door opened and closed right behind the person when they came in. I was facing the wall so I couldn’t see who it was.

 But I knew who it was once they laid next to me and wrapped their hands around my waist. "Justin what are you doing here?" I asked "What I can't be with my best friend?" he question "No you can but I thought you were playing video games with the guys." "I was but they don't make me smile like you do." he said I turned around to face him.  "Well what do you want to do?" I asked him "How about we watch a movie?" he asked "Sure choose what you want to watch." I said handing him the control to my T.V. We ended watching Project X be he ended up falling asleep before the movie ended. I looked over at the clock on my nightstand and seen it was midnight. I didn’t want Pattie to worry so I texted her that Justin was asleep on my bed. I turned off the television and I walked to my bathroom. I changed out of my jeans and sweater and changed into pajama shorts and a t-shirt. I walked back to bed and pulled a blanket over Justin and I.

I turned to face him and his eyes shot open. "What time is it?" he questioned. "Midnight." "I better go my mom's going to freak." He said getting up. "Justin chill I texted her and told her you fell asleep." I said laughing. "Oh good." he said laying back down. Our faces were just inches away. I played with his hair while his eyes slowly closed. I could hear him faintly snore. "I love you too Justin." I whispered thinking he was asleep but he wasn’t. The biggest smile appeared on his face. "I thought you were asleep." I said "No, I just wanted to see what you would say." he said. "You're so mean." I said turning around.

 "Jaiden." he said but I ignored him. He picked me up and turned me around. "You heard me didn’t you?" he asked I knew exactly what he was talking about. "Maybe." I said looking away. "Why didn’t you tell me?" he said "Because I didn’t know if I actually was hearing it or I was dreaming it." I said "Aww you dream about me?" he asked "Can you not make fun of me right now." I said "I'm not making fun of you, I think it's cute that you dream of me." "I don't dream of you. I thought I was." I corrected him. "Well it wasn’t a dream. I do love you and I just want you to be with me." he said intertwining his hand with mine under the blankets. 

I couldn’t help but blush. "Justin." I said "Don’t say yes or no. I'll give you some time to think about it but this time I promise not to mess it up." he said "Fine I'll think about it." "Good, but can I kiss you I've been dying to ever since the last time I kissed you." "Sure." I said. I wasn’t going to say no, I mean I missed kissing his as well. He leaned in and pecked my lips. "I missed you’re beautiful lips." he said. "I missed yours." I said honestly. "Can we go back to sleep, I'm pretty tired." he said. "Yea of course." he didn’t hesitate he removed his shirt and pants and as laying on my bed with nothing but his boxers. I turned off the lights and he pulled me close to him. I could feel him breath down my neck which send chills down my spine. My eyes slowly closed and before I knew it I was asleep
