I've been left alone for hours just thinking about going through the surgery. How the hell can I say no but I can't say yes? This is a life threating surgery, he is my father but he was never in my life growing up. But he sure was in Becky's. I couldn’t take that away from her. From what I heard she lost her mother recently and I can't take her father as well. Justin came into the room sitting down next to me. "How's the thinking going?" he said "Would you be mad if I go through with it?" I asked "Babe whatever I say doesn’t matter. But how are you going to give half of your liver to someone who wasn't in your life and how are you going to listen to someone who bullied you throughout high school?"

He was right. "Justin, I'm going to go through this because I can't bare to see someone lose a parent. Yes he wasn't in my life but he was in hers. I don't need my father around, I have Drew and you. But Becky has no one except Mark and if I'm the only person that can save him then, I'm going to do it." I said "You do understand you can die from this surgery?" he said "Yea I know, but I have everything I ever wanted. If I do die I know that I was always happy." I said smiling. "I'll let you do this in one condition." he said What can possible be the condition. "What?" I asked He reached into his pocket and took out a black leather box. He grabbed my hand and looked straight into my eyes.

We have had our ups and downs and I'm pretty sure we'll have more from where those came from but I'm always going to be here, if you are here with me. I asked "Well, I would of wanted to asked your mom for your hand but she isn't here and well Drew won't answer my calls, and your father is the only person around right now." he said. "Can you get the doctor and tell her I'm going to go through with the surgery." I said. He nodded and walked out. I reached in my pocket for my phone and called Drew. I haven't talked to him since Justin and I left for Paris. My phone kept ringing until it reached his voice mail. Where the hell has he been. Justin came into the room with Doctor Grey. so a nurse will be here to get you ready, but I think your father would like to talk to you first." she said "For what?" I asked "I don't know but you have a couple of minutes before we get you ready." she said  "Okay, I'll be back." I said to Justin. He nodded and I walked out and walked towards Mark's room. "You wanted to speak to me?" I asked when I walked in. "Yea, take a seat." he said. I took a seat next to Becky and I looked at him. "Don't do the surgery." he said "What? Dad you need this liver." Becky said "Baby I can't make her do anything she doesn’t want to ." he said seriously.

"Dad you'll die without it" Becky said "I said no, I've taken too much from her already." he said starting to get mad. "Okay look, I'm not asking for your permission. I'm going to give you part of my liver because I want to. I know what it's like having a brother, but I don't know what it's like having a sister or a father so if the surgery goes well, I would like to get to spend time with both of you and get to know each other." I said " I would love that." Mark said "Great, I have to get back to my room but I'll see you after the surgery." I said I flashed them a smile and walked back to my room. Justin and the guy nurse were talking but stopped when I walked in. "Jaiden this is Derek he'll be your nurse." Justin said.
