It was almost time for me to perform. I had changed into a short floral dress with black heels. Justin and I were backstage rehearsing with the dancers and the band players. "Ms. Santana it's time." the producer told me. I took a deep breath and I walked on stage. Of course the stage was covered so the audience couldn’t see me. I felt like I was having a panic attack. I looked over at Justin and he notice. He quickly ran over to me. "Jaiden take deep breaths you'll be okay." he said "No Justin I can't do this." I said in between breaths. "Hey look at me." he said cupping my face. "Pretend it's just you and me back in Canada rehearsing for the competition." he said smiling. I nodded and got back into position. "Her album Yours Truly debut at number one, Making her first MTV VMA's Appearance here is Jaiden Santana."

    The music started playing and the curtain went up. I couldn’t see anything because of the lights but like Justin said to pretend that it was just me and him I did and I started singing. " What we gotta do right here is go back, back to the top.

I faced the croud and I knew I had to sing like it was my last time. He was backstage because he was about to perform after I presented my award. "Thank you." I said blushing "Jaiden your up." the producer told me once again.
