Percico- the end of the world

Percy's P.O.V

I see Annabeth stressing out, all the rest of the seven trying to spend time with each other but Annabeth ran off to focus on that laptop. I see Nico sat in the crows nest as I walk onto the deck.
I sigh, wondering if it's all worth it, why should I save the world? Why me out of everyone?  "Don't try to justify everything...in the end it just ends up in depression" I hear Nico say.
I turn around to see him next to me. He rests his arms on the railing and stares into the sea.            "I know you're worried about tomorrow...but you won't die" he says. His eyes are closed. "But it could happen, or you guys could and that will kill me" I say. He chuckles darkly.
"You'll only die if Annabeth does, you don't care about the rest of us" he says, anger lacing his words. "Wha- yes it would kill me if Annabeth dies, but I care about all of you" I say.
"What if she died?" Nico asks. "She won't" I say. "What if I died?" He asks. My eyes widen and he snaps his eyes open. "Exactly what I thought" he says. "I know one of us is going to die and it's likely going to be me, Leo or Jason" Nico says. "And you don't give a single shit if we died...what sort of friend are you?" Nico asks.
"Neeks, I would care if you died, I couldn't imagine never meeting you" I say. He looks straight at me. "I mean I was so worried when you left after Bianca" I say. He looks down.
"Bianca was all my fault and I can't forgive myself for that but you know that I made sure you are ok, for Bianca's sake" I say. He chuckles.
"Bianca will never know how I've grown...heck she won't even know I'm gay" he says. "You're gay?" I ask. "Yes...shit" Nico says. "At least I might as well spend my last day alive with you" Nico says."Don't ever say that!" I say. He will live. Nico shrugs. "I kinda want to" Nico says. "What?" I ask. Sadness and anger build up inside. "I mean everyone is scared of me and if I die, I get to see my mum again" he says. "I miss her Percy" he says. I pull him into a hug. Nico hugs back and sighs. I hear Annabeth screaming in frustration. "She's always going to be first isn't she?" Nico says. "I guess" I say. "She gives you everything you need, strength, love, happiness...nothing I could ever give" he says. "What do you mean Nico?" I ask. He sighs. "I...I loved you Percy...I was never jealous of Annabeth, or even gave a shit about her" Nico says. "Why tell me now?" I ask. He smiles. "Might as well tell you while I'm alive" he says. He pulls away from the hug.
"I...I didn't know" I say and his smile drops a little. "I went away, I knew you loved her, she will always be for you...but..." he says. "I don't give a shit if you care about her, or she gives you everything you need that I could never give to you but it's the end of the world and I'm going to die if I do this or not...I want no regrets when I die" he says and holds my collar. He reaches up and kisses me. I begin to kiss back...I can't let Nico go, I love Annabeth but I can't let him go, not again. We pull back after a while and he looks shocked, blushing wildly. He walks away but I grab his hand. "Nico...don't go" I say. He looks at the ground. "You have Annabeth" he says. "Yes, you do have Annabeth" I hear from the door. I look and see the rest of the seven and Annabeth stood at the front. Nico looks at Jason who is smiling and trying to hide it.
"Damn that was cute" Piper says, getting a nosebleed. Hazel was blushing like crazy with Frank and Leo was smirking, leaning on the doorframe. "Seaweed brain...what is this?" Annabeth asks. "Uhhhh..." I say. Nico is frozen. "Annabeth...I..." Nico says. "No, shut up Nico" she says.
"Hey, can we not?" I ask. "YOU KISSED HIM!" Annabeth yells. "Annabeth..." Nico says, totally being ignored by Annabeth."Why did you kiss him?" Annabeth asks me. "ANNABETH I KISSED HIM OK...blame me for this, not him" he says. Annabeth looks amazed and pissed off, she storms off. "Let me go Jackson and get your girlfriend" Nico says. "But..." I say. Nico glares at me. "She is the one you need, go get her now" Nico says. I feel torn...Nico or Annabeth. Leo's smile had dropped and frazel had disappeared. "I suggest you pick one, Nico or Annabeth...and pick who you need" Piper says. I loved Annabeth...LOVED her, but now...I let go of Nico and run to Annabeth. I break down her door and see her. "We need to talk" Annabeth says and I nod.

Nico's P.O.V

I knew it. Jason walks over to me and hugs me. I cry into his chest...I knew this would happen I just wanted to pretend that he would pick me. I hear more yelling off Annabeth. "Why her?" I ask. Jason strokes my hair, like a cat. "Ghost King...it'll be ok" Jason says. I see Leo, anger in his eyes and small flames beginning to go all over him. I hear footsteps and see Annabeth walking over to me. Shit...I'm gonna die. She looks mad. "Just listen to me" Percy says.
"I am doing" she says. "Everyone tell the truth on who you love" Piper says. "I...cheated Percy, while you were missing..." Annabeth says. Percy looks ok with it. Jason walks over to Piper. She pulls Leo out of the room, a scorch mark on the doorframe. Annabeth looks at me and smiles. She looks at Percy and sighs. "You deserve to be happy" she says and walks off. Percy stares at me and pulls me to his chest. "I'm sorry neeks" he says. I hug him back and hide my face from the world...I don't wanna die, I don't want the world to end.
