Why? Why must I always crush on the wrong people...I got over Percy and onto Leo...and now look! He left and got Calypso. They are the worst couple and not even Aphrodite ships it!
Why must they torture me with watching him be so happy with her when she is clearly using him? Stupid emotions! I head into my cabin, away from them all and I hear my phone buzzing
(IT'S A MONSTER PROOF PHONE, LEO CREATED THEM)
I look at it to see that dreaded name...Leo.

Leo: hey 😉
Nico: hi...
Leo: where are you? 🤔
Nico: busy...why?
Leo: I need advice and quick 🤓
Nico: with what?

I know way too well...this happened so much and I can't take it. Be strong Nico! Oh gods...

I see tears drop into the screen of my phone, I try to wipe them off.

Leo: true...but sunshine used to date GODS! HEROES! MEN! Not a guy like me 😔
Nico: and? I'm pretty sure she has a thing for your dad anyway
Leo: oh...she does talk about my dad a lot 😟
Nico: yeah...sorry Leo
Leo: nah, it's ok...I mean she'll find someone better than me 😰

I turn off my phone and begin sobbing...pull yourself together!
He isn't Percy, so stop feeling bad!  But whatever I do he'll be there with his girlfriend, he is straight...and I'll never have a chance. I feel the tears falling down my cheeks as I fall to sleep.

I wake up the next morning, tired and hurting. My eyes sting and my pillow is wet from the tears. I need to get over him, and soon. I need to start loving myself...be the boy I wanted to be and not the shell of a broken guy who can't be fixed. I walk to a mirror and look at myself...bloodshot/ soulless eyes, pale skin and a miserable image peers back at me. I had become ghostly pale, insanely thin and I hated it...I want to look more like me, like the boy I used to be. Leo or no Leo I'll become happy...I want to be! No more crying over a guy...no more heartbreak...no more pain. I grab all my stuff and stuff it into a bag. I grab breakfast and eat before rushing to finish packing. I grab a piece of paper and write a note as fast as I could and ran to the borders of camp. I look down at all the camp and shadow travel away. I shouldn't have left Jason, Percy and Hazel like that but I had to...I'll be back to see Hazel and Jason, not soon but eventually.

Jason's P.O.V

I walk into Nico's cabin with Leo. I look to see everything missing. I pick up the note and Leo races off to grab Percy and the rest of the seven.

Dear camp...or whoever cares to read this I guess.

I'm leaving for good, no I'm not dead, yes I planned this, yes I'll be back to visit Hazel and Jason...just not all the time.
I hated this...leaving I mean, but I had to. I fell in love and I couldn't stand to watch him love someone else so I had to leave...NO IT'S NOT PERCY, HE'S NOT MY TYPE! And I hope Hazel and Jason can forgive me for leaving them...and if you dare hurt Hazel I will murder you all, Frank protect Hazel for me...and Annabeth make sure no one dies...
