Percico- Twenty years

Percy's P.O.V

Gods, being a single dad is harder than I thought it would be. Doesn't help when there is only one person with two kids. I miss her though...Annabeth. She wouldn't want me crying over her but it's been five years. I walk along with Bianca and Sally. Bianca wanted to go into a bookstore so we all went. How that kid managed to get ten free book tokens in a day I will never know.
Bianca runs off through all the shelves of books. "Bianca? Bianca, honey where are you?" I shout. Sally drags me towards the teen section with all the collectable items. "Mister, why are you buying those? Those are for kids" I hear Bianca say. "Because I used to love this game...now where is your parents?" I hear a man say. "My dad is somewhere with my sister" Bianca says. "Ok kid...you remind me someone...anyway lets go find your dad" the man says. "Can you get me that book up there mister?" Bianca asks. "Don't call me mister...and sure" the man says. "Thank you sir...why do you wear all black?" Bianca asks. "Bianca where are you?" I shout.
"I wear black because I want to...and just call me Nico" the guy says. I see them and my heart stops. Nico? "Bianca...there you are, you scared me to death" I say and race over to Bianca, picking her up. "Daddy I found this man, he likes kid games and wear all black...he is called Nico" Bianca says. "Bianca?" The guy, Nico says. He steps back, looking at me. "Percy?" Nico asks. I smile. "Hey Nico" I say. "You know him?" Sally asks and I nod.
"How is everything?" Nico asks. "I should be asking you that...you left all of us straight after the war was over...it's been twenty years" I say and Nico sighs. "I decided to just live a normal life...I lived with dad until I was twenty and got a job, and eventually became an artist" Nico says.
"Wow, what job?" I ask. "McDonald's...it was only temporary" Nico says. "Bet you still loved it" I say and his eyes light up. "Free happy meals...every day Percy! Who wouldn't love that!" Nico says and Bianca laughs. "He's like a man child" Bianca says and Nico looks at her. "Anyway how's life at camp, and all the others?" Nico asks. "Jason and Piper got married with a child, Hazel and Frank are married with three kids, Leo dumped Calypso and met someone new and married her, I got these two and life seems to be ok" I say. Nico looks confused. "What about Annabeth? Didn't you have plans to get married and stuff?" Nico asks. "Yeah...but she, she died when Sally was born...and she deserved better, I fell in love with someone else while I was on the Argo 2" I say. Sally and Bianca had disappeared to buy books. "Oh...I..." Nico says. I sigh. "Anyway...how's the dating game going for you?" I ask.
"I fell in love while at camp, I left to try and stop it but it didn't work" Nico says. "Daddy, uncle Jason and auntie piper says that they want to talk to Nico!" Bianca yells. Nico laughs.
"Let me guess, Bianca does this a lot?" Nico asks and I nod. I hear Jason's and Piper's voices from my phone. "Shhh, Nico loves your dad...so I want you two to make them kiss" Piper says.
I stare at Nico as his eyes widen. "Just give us to Nico" Jason says.
"Daddy kiss Nico, auntie Piper said so and she gets angry when no one kisses!" Bianca yells. "Scary" Sally says. "Nico...is it true?" I ask and Nico looks scared. "I left so you wouldn't find out, you would hate me and would be with Annabeth" Nico says. "Nico...I fell in love with someone else other than Annabeth...and I want to be with them" I say and he nods. "I get it" Nico says. "So, come over here" I say. "I fell in love...with you Nico" I say and Nico looks into my eyes. I move closer to him and he is still smaller than me. I lean down and he goes on his toes and we kiss. I hear a gasp and a squeal. "PERCICO IS CANNON" Piper yells. Bianca and Sally pull on my leg. "Yes?" I ask, pulling away from Nico and looking down at the kids.
"Does this mean we have two dads?" Sally asks and we both nod. "Yay! Two dads!" Sally says.
Nico is blushing like crazy. I smile as we walk hand in hand out of the bookshop, the kids walking in front. "Love you Nico" I say and he smiles. "Love you too" he says.
