Nico di Angelo x Leo/Percy one shots

Leico- message

Leo's P.O.V

I set up the microphone and get ready to record. I'm down in the engine room and no one will disturb me for hours, it's more than enough time. I know I'm going to die, it's the only way to save us all...but he deserves this one last thing.
After a while I put the CD in a case and write a note. I sneak into Nico's room and put it in his aviator jacket pocket...he'll find it there. I sigh and head to the deck to see the guys for one last time before everything changes tomorrow.

Nico's P.O.V

The war is raging on and I race towards Percy to attack the Roman attacking him from behind. I hear screaming of piper and see festus, Leo, Piper and Jason. Jason flies with Piper and an explosion happens...with Leo on it. "LEO!" I yell. The battle is over...Leo...Leo's dead, and yet I didn't really feel him die like I normally do...this time it's different.

A COUPLE WEEKS LATER*******

I stick my hands in my pockets and feel something. I pull it out and see a CD with Leo's messy handwriting on. I race to bunker nine and race to Leo's spot. He is the only one with a radio/CD player, well was. I set up the CD and press play. Tears spring to my eyes, realising these are Leo's last ever words to me.

"Hey Neeks...ummm, well I hate this, I hate saying this on a stupid CD and not in person but...I'm probably dead so you know, unless you wanna visit me in the underworld or something, ok Leo stop rambling on. Ok I have something really like super duper important to tell you" he says. I roll my eyes and laugh at the typical Leo Valdez talking.
"Listen Neeks...I made mistakes ok, I read your diary...oh I mean your journal" he says. I growl. "It's totally a diary" he whispers.
"I also didn't talk to you as much as I should have, I nearly burnt Frank and I screwed up being friends with Jason and Piper...I'm a third or seventh wheel and I know it, but with you there...I felt like I was on cloud nine. Yes this is cheesy and soppy but heck that's how I roll. What I'm trying to say...I wanna say that no matter what I did you were always there to help me and...I love you Neeks. Like head over heels for you and I knew that I couldn't die not telling you this...yes I am gonna come back and I swear on the river Styx next time we meet I will kiss you like you are the only guy on the earth...well the only perfect guy, it's true Neeks. I love you Neeks" he says. I feels the tears. "I love you too" I say.

Jason's P.O.V

It's been weeks since Nico has left his cabin and I'm getting worried, I know he loved Leo, more than he ever loved Percy and I'm glad it was Leo he fell in love with...they seem perfect for each other but now Leo...is dead and Nico won't eat, sleep or go outside and he yells at everyone and isolates himself. I want Leo home. We need him more than we realised, more than he knows.

Nico's P.O.V

I just want Leo here with me...it's selfish I know but I love him, and I'll never get to tell him when he was around I wanted to be no place else but with him and I keep searching the underworld and there is no sign of him anywhere. Where are you Leo? Percy races into my cabin and is panting like he ran a marathon. "Ni-Nico" he says. "What kelp head?" I ask, putting down my mythomagic cards. "L-Le-" he says. "Spit it out Percy" I say. "Leo" Percy says and races out of the cabin. I race out the cabin, past Percy and straight for the crowd surrounding Leo. I see Festus and when he sees me he snorts and grunts. I shadowtravel through the crowd to the front where I see a girl and Leo. The girl walks off, flirting with the Ares kids. I look straight at Leo and he finally noticed me in the crowd. "Leo?" I ask. He races forward and I race towards him. The crowds are just a blur and all I can see is Leo. He stops right in front of me and grabs my waist. I hold onto his shoulders as he kisses me. I kiss back and it's pure bliss, like we had a spark. He pulls away after a while and I notice all the crowds had left apart from the seven, Reyna and Festus. "I can tell you got my message" Leo says. I nod. "No more dying Valdez, once is enough" I say and he chuckles. "No more dying...love you Neeks" he says. "Love you too Leo, don't call me Neeks" I say. "Ok then, baby bat wings" he says. "I will send you to Hades Leo" I say. "But I don't really want to meet your father yet" he says with a smirk, nervousness in his eyes. I roll my eyes. I pull him down and kiss him again. He smiles and kisses me back. "Umm we are here you know" Frank says. We turn and face the guys and Leo's hair sets on fire.
"Oh...holy Hephaestus" Leo mutters. Jason and Piper squeal loudly and Jason keeps muttering Valdangelo under his breath. "Leo, you hurt him, you have us to deal with" Hazel says.
"But you are a cute couple" Annabeth says. "SO HE'S YOUR TYPE THEN?!?!?!" Percy yells. "Yep...dorky fire elves are apparently my type" I say. "Now to deal with Valdez...Why did you do that to us all?" Piper asks. "Listen...it was the only way to stop Gaia, I mean I came back right, that's a bonus...and heck there is no place I'll rather be than home with my boyfriend, my best friends and my family" Leo says. Piper cries a little. "Never again, or else I'll kill you for good, no coming back" Piper says with a smile. "I'll hold you to that" Leo says.
I smile and for the first time since Bianca i feel accepted, wanted...and loved.
