Leico- falling

Nico's P.O.V

Percy and Annabeth accidently raised Gaia. Yep, guess we weren't going to win in the first place. We begin running from monsters and I raise skeletons to put some of the monsters off our track for a while. Leo was setting stuff on fire and we keep running until Annabeth falls down another hole...what is it with her and falling off cliff or into holes? Percy begins trying to save her and we keep running. Hazel is sat on Frank's back and Frank has changed into a bear and is running, knocking down monsters. Jason and Piper are sprinting. My heart begins to break as I see Leo get grabbed by a monster. I pull out my sword and begin attacking as Leo begins burning the monster. Eventually they catch us all and throw us into cages. Me and Hazel in one, Leo and Frank in another, then Percy and Jason and in the last one is Annabeth and Piper.

I hear my sister and Piper crying. All the girls are trying to find a way to escape and I sigh as I sit down. "Nico! Come on, do you have an idea?" Annabeth asks and Hazel looks hopeful. I roll my eyes. "Give up, that's my idea" I say and Piper begins ranting and so does Jason. Leo messes with his toolbelt and Annabeth smiles. "Leo, make something" She orders. Leo gives off a sad, broken smile and I see tears in his eyes. "Unfortunately I'm with Nico on this one Annie" he says and I see a small blade. He shrugs. "Don't you dare! Leo Valdez, put that down now!" Piper shouts and Frank takes it off Leo. Leo looks at me and I feel my heart break and burst all over again. "Guess it's the end...nice knowing you guys" Percy says and smiles at us all. "Might as well make these last moments count" Jason says. Hazel wipes her eyes. "We can't give up now, what happened to being a team?" Hazel says. "It's useless Hazel..." Annabeth says. The earth begins to move and I hold my breath. Leo's hand reaches through the bars and grabs mine. I hold his hand tightly as I hear laughter of Gaia. Percy and Jason get taken away and Piper begins screaming. "Nico, I'm not going to leave you ok?" Leo says and I feel the darkness engulfing me.

I wake up to see a dark orange sky, filling with smoke. I sit up to see Leo and my mind races. I shadowtravelled by accident...and took Leo with me! I left my sister and my friends behind. I wake up Leo, tears in my eyes. He stares at me and at the surroundings. "Nico..." he whispers and I see the cuts on his face. I pull my knees into my chest and see burning of buildings. Leo puts an arm around me and sighs. "This is the end, isn't it?" I ask and look at Leo to see him looking at me with a small smile. "Yeah...guess the sky is gonna fall...the crumble of Olympus" Leo says and I sigh. Leo moves and stands up. He holds out his hand to me and I stand up. I see camp, burning and dark. "Do you see what I'm seeing?" Leo asks and I nod. "The only place I was accepted...gone" I say. Leo pulls me into a hug. "I accept you" he says and I smile. I look around to hear sounds. "Whatever happens, we'll be together" I say and kiss Leo. His arms wrap around me and he kisses me, protecting me from the monsters. I hear growls and Leo holds my hand tight as we see monsters, and dirt queen herself. "Let Olympus fall! Keep them alive, they are valuable to me" Gaia says and Leo smiles at me. "Together" he says and I nod. Gaia laughs as her guards grab us, our hands still linked. Gaia grins at us both and I sigh...as long as we're together.
