A/N: Let's change this book up a little bit, requested by @birdy163...let's get into this!

Percy's P.O.V

I walk through camp half blood, I see all the seven, apart from the lovable Latino. "Where is Leo?" I ask. "He wants to be left alone" Nico says. Why would Nico know what Leo wants? Jason looks worried along with Piper ... "hey, I'll check on him if you want?" I tell Jason and he smiles.
Piper nods. "Yeah, if you would" Jason asks. I nod and head towards the bunker. Why couldn't Jason check on him? I mean they are best friends...some best friend if he ditched him to go somewhere else. Jason reminds me of me when I ditched Nico, and Annabeth...no wonder we broke up. I knock on the bunker and get no reply. I push on the door to notice it's unlocked...something is definitely wrong, Leo always locks the door. I creep through the bunker, stepping over discarded nuts and bolts. I hear something quiet coming from Leo's room. I walk towards the noise, hoping for an answer to what it is...and where Leo is. The noise become clearer and it sounds like crying. Wait...Crying? I walk faster, tripping over tools and scraps of metal. I try to open the door where the crying was coming from. It was locked and the sobbing got worse. I banged on the door, trying to break open the door. "Leo? Is that you?" I ask and the sobbing gets muffled. I bang on the door more. "Leo, please open the door" I say as the lock clicks. I walk in, my eyes widening in shock of what I have seen. Leo was there, turned away from me, tools flung everywhere...photos smashed and Leo rocking gently back and forth. I race towards Leo. "Leo...are you hurt?" I ask, he keeps facing away from me. I sit in front of him and try to get him to face me. "Leo, can we talk?" I ask and Leo looks up. His eyes are blood shot and red, tear stains run down both of his cheeks. He wasn't looking at me...but something laying on the floor between us. I look down to see a photo of a Latina woman with a little Latino baby.
Is that Leo's mum? "Sorry..." Leo says. "I mean, for worrying you guys, I'm fine" Leo says.
"Leo...tell me, I wanna help" I say and he begins to break down again, I pull him into a hug. How did I not see the signs sooner? "I-I wanna see her again" Leo says. "I wanna be with my mother" Leo cries. I wish I could help him but I just...can't. "Leo, I can't even imagine what you're going through...but I do know one thing" I say. "That your mum is probably the proudest mum in the whole of Elysium because of you...and I'm glad you're not dead, I never want you to die again Leo" I say. Leo moves away and wipes his eyes. "Why would you care if I was alive?" He asks. Why do I care? My heart beats rapidly. "Because I care...I wouldn't live with it if you died" I say. Leo smiles...but it wasn't a happy smile. "Of course we can't have the perfect hero feeling bad for a lowly mechanic" Leo mutters. "Leo...I didn't mean it like that... I meant I couldn't live without hearing your voice, seeing that perfect smile of yours and without actually making sure you see your worth" I say. "You could kill me and Jason if you tried hard enough...heck you could burn down all of camp!" I say and Leo rolls his eyes. "I just miss her" Leo says.
"She...I killed her" he says. I growl. "Gaia killed her, not you" I say.
"If I was only careful...if only I wasn't here, she would be ok and happy! She would be smiling and not have to fight with her sister, not have to be in debt...not carry a burden" Leo says.
I can't stand this...gods! I lean in and kiss him. I feel his body freeze. He begins to kiss back, slowly. "You aren't a burden" I say, kissing him. "She is smiling...she is happy" I say. He is smiling. "And this is why I wouldn't live without you" I say. "Fine...you persuaded me" Leo says with a smirk. I chuckle and hug him. No more tears for him, I won't let him cry anymore.
