Perleo- I need a hero

A/N: I got a request to do more Perleo by @LeoValdezFlamingFire so here we are, I hope you enjoy!

Leo's P.O.V

Why am I so stupid? I mean I could have been sensible but no! Stupid Leo had to be an idiot and is now surrounded by monsters. I sigh, my thoughts catching up to me. I'm alone, close to death...I might see my mother again, I won't have to deal with all the pain anymore. I smile at that thought as the monsters move closer. I brace myself and suddenly hear my name being yelled by someone. My eyes widen and I set myself on fire, I need to run. I begin sprinting and I hear footsteps following me. Fuck! I try to run faster but I can't...I'm too weak. Maybe my mum won't want to see me? Maybe I'm that pathetic that she'll be disappointed in me. I keep running. Why can't someone just save me from it all? I sigh and slow down and change direction and soon the footsteps stop and I sit down on a large boulder and stare into the sky. I need help...I can't go back now. I sigh and begin to cry. I wipe my eyes and try to hold it in like I always do. They never needed me, they never wanted me, they lied to me. I sigh and hear soft footsteps. I turn and see Piper and begin sprinting again. Calypso just wanted him and to be honest so did I. She hated Annabeth and I'm just jealous, I mean who wouldn't when her boyfriend is a tall glass of sexy and is the most loyal guy. I understand Nico now. I suddenly get grabbed and I see muscular arms. "Jason put me the fuck down" I say, to be honest, anyone can lift me, even an eight-year-old could lift me with one arm. I get put down but kept hold of and turn around to meet sea-green eyes, sparkling like the ocean, gleaming like when water hits the water. I freeze and almost die. Isn't Percy disgusted? Why not? I would be disgusted if I found out a guy like me had a crush on me. I mean he looks like a god and I look like a twig. "Leo..." Percy says and I struggle and try to run. I could go back to the bunker and escape there if needs be but I can't stay. I am not facing rejection again...not by him. He looks worried and I sigh. I slip out of his grasp and fold my arms. "What?" I ask and smirk at him. Just pretend, he isn't the smartest, they all saw through the smiles before, they can do it again. "Leo...I just wanted to say" Percy says and I can't do it. I can already see it happening and I try to smile. "I get it, you don't like me but we can still be friends, I got it, see you around" I say and begin running again. Percy yells my name and begins to follow me. He catches up to me and he stops me. "Leo, you're my friend ok, I don't care, just tell me why you're running" Percy says and I can't hold it in. Friend...just a friend. "You know why...you have her and I get tossed aside, who cares about the lowly mechanic right" I ask and Percy suddenly pulls me into a hug. I hug back and let the tears flow. I trusted Calypso, I told her I liked him and she just blurted it out. "I care...you little dork" Percy says and I wipe my eyes and chuckle. He sighs and I see a small blush and he sighs. "You know I'm kinda glad I finally got told, I thought I was the only one" Percy asks and I look at him confused as he leans in and kisses me. My eyes widen and my heart begins flipping and dancing. I kiss back gently. He smiles and picks me up bridal style. "I feel the same Leo" Percy says and I look at him confused. "But...Annabeth...Nico said you were..." I say and he chuckles. He shrugs. "Annabeth and I decided to be friends as she wanted to go and be free. Nico found Will and is happy and I hid it, No-one bothered asking but when Calypso was being a bitch and then told the entire table you liked me and you ran away...I knew I had to say something...I mean I love you Leo" Percy says as we make it back to the cabins and we head to his cabin. I am blushing badly. "So...you're bi just like me?" I ask and Percy nods as we sit on his bed in his cabin. I smile. "I...was wondering if you're done running If you wanna date, boyfriend and boyfriend?" Percy asks and I nod. He smiles and I smile back. My hero.
