Nico's P.O.V

I sit in the bunker again and see Leo building again. I bet it's for that girl...Calypso. I sigh and sit down. I hear soft sobs. "Leo?" I ask and Leo stops and he pulls off his mask and wipes his eyes and smiles shakily. "H-hey, what...brings you to my humble abode?" Leo asks and I see the red eyes from crying, his lips quivering from the sobs. "Nothing much, what is making you cry?" I ask. He smirks and chuckles. "Bad boy supreme does not cry, so..." Leo says and I fold my arms and he sighs. I drag Leo into his own private room in the bunker and I notice something that I've never seen before. Surrounding the picture of him and his mum is many red, orange and yellow flowers looking like a flame, candles and a wrench all surrounding the picture. I feel my arms drop and I realise the day. Leo sits on a sofa and hides his face in his hands. He looks so much like his mother it's almost like twins. Like me and my mother...Maria. "Leo, are you ok?" I ask and sit next to him. "She always said that I could build the biggest machine and prove to the world how amazing I was...she always wanted us to be happy" Leo says and I sigh as I see the picture and see the garage that the fire happened in behind them. "She worked every single day of her life, she'll never see the machines I built...everything I have done" Leo says and I sigh. His mother and him were very close. "I know what you mean...my mother will never know that I'm gay" I say and Leo looks at me and smiles. He shivers and I notice the mirror behind us. He sighs. "To be honest, same" Leo says and I look at him shocked. Is he actually gay? Since when? He has always flirted with girls. "Well...I'm bisexual, and she'll never know. She always wanted to see me get married and now she never will" Leo says and I look at the picture and his mum seems to be staring at me and giving me a look. "Never meet any people I date, never be able to see her smile...if she is proud of me or disgraced at me" Leo says and I take a deep breath and hold Leo's face and make him look at me. "She will never be disgraced at you, she must be the proudest mother in Elysium to have a son like you who's saved the world and conquered death, she wouldn't want you to cry, she would want you to live life to the fullest and have many stories to tell her when you get to Elysium, do that for your mother Leo, it's hard because I go through the same with my sister and my mother but I try and that is enough" I say and notice a tear rolling down my face. Leo smiles and looks at me. He nods and pulls me into a hug. I hug him back and hold him close. I can't lose Leo too, he understands the pain and I know his mother will be proud of him. I'm certain she will, I know people in Elysium can watch their loved ones and I hope she is watching and knows that I will try to help Leo as much as I can.
