Nico's P.O.V

I stare at Leo and feel myself blushing. Percy is laughing and so is Jason and they are trying to cheer me up. Will is trying to flirt with me and I roll my eyes at his advances. He has money, he has a good job and is so nice...but he's not what I want. I sigh as Leo looks at me and heads off.   I head to my cabin and lie down. My mind races of all the moments we had...and how I missed them.

Leo sits next to me on the ship. "Honestly, I'm way tired of this quest...dirt lady is really pissing me off" Leo says and I smile.
"True...but you're one of the seven, she's going to target you" I say and Leo chuckles before yawning. "Ok mister morbid, I get it" Leo says and wraps an arm around me. He falls asleep.

I hear people yelling and I see decorations. "Come on! It's prom!" Hazel says and drags me towards the Aphrodite cabin. I growl, stupid camp prom...I don't want to go. I see Leo, shirtless and hanging decorations and I blush. "NICO! Earth to Nico!" Piper shouts and I glare at her and she smiles. I see Calypso and I glare at her and she smirks at me. I flip her off and head into the cabin.

I sit on a bench as I see couples dancing everywhere. I sigh and take a sip of my drink. I see Will off with someone and I am so glad he's not over here. I notice Jason and Percy talking to Leo and Frank and I sigh. I watch as I see a couple dance and see them smiling and I smile. "They look so happy" I mutter and stare at the ground. I see more happy couples and see  Piper walking towards me. "Nico? What's wrong?" Piper asks and sits next to me. I roll my eyes.

"I don't do parties...I don't deal with people...teenagers scare the living shit out of me" I say with a smile and Piper looks confused and I sigh. "It's a emo thing" I say and Piper nods. She looks around. "You do have a romance aura around you though" Piper says. I shrug.
"You're seeing things" I say and Piper smiles with a little laugh and I see her watching Jason. "Don't we all?" She asks and I face her and drop my smile. "I see dead people" I whisper and burst out laughing. "Another emo thing?" She asks. "No, a movie thing" I say and she sighs and looks around. "Why do you keep looking at Leo?" She asks with a smirk. I blush and stare at the floor. "He's ok...he's not as annoying as he used to be...kinda cute" I say. Piper stays silent. "Who's kinda cute? Is Neeks finally opening up?" Leo says and I look up to see him stood with Jason. Jason is looking at Piper. All of a sudden Piper has got up and grabbed Jason and dragged him off to the dance floor. Leo sits next to me. "Where's Calypso?" I ask and Leo closes his eyes."She is with Connor Stoll...apparently he's more of a man" Leo says and I mentally screech. "You know...she was kinda a bitch to you anyway, she didn't appreciate you and how smart you were" I say and mentally slap myself across the face. Leo sighs. "She was the tear in my heart" Leo says and I smile."A fan huh?" I ask and Leo chuckles.
"Yeah...they have good music" Leo says and I begin talking about music. Leo has a weird look in his eye. I look at the other couples and sigh. "You're gonna get a boyfriend eventually" Leo says.
'But I can't love someone the way I love you' I think and see Leo looking at the couples. "You wanna dance?" Leo asks. I look at him confused and he holds out his hand. I take his hand and a slow song begins to play. I see everyone staring at us and I blush. Leo's hair is smoking and he looks nervous. "So...do you want to...will you, I uhh..." Leo says and smiles.
"Do you want to...hang out sometime...as a date?" Leo says and my eyes widen and I hold back my inner fangirl. "Sure" I say and Leo smiles. I see Piper and Percy giving me the thumbs up and Jason smiling with Annabeth. Hazel is grinning and Frank looks shocked. Will looks angry. I look into Leo's eyes and see a little flame dancing around in them. Leo begins to move down and kisses me. I kiss back. Yes, I shouldn't be an idiot...I should have gone and been safe and dated Will instead of Leo who ends up in danger all the time and could die...but I don't like safe, I like love.
